During that snow me and 3 of my friends drove my Chevette into the Market Basket parking lot (now HEB) at the corner of 2222 and Burnet Rd and did donuts in the snow for an hour. It was the most fun that Chevette ever saw.

It snowed after my husband's funeral. We were rushing to get it done. Then I had to take people to the airport and they ended up being snowed in. I skidded into the back end of some guy's car at a stop light on my way home. I barely touched him, but he was really mean to me, yelling that I should have left more room. I lost it. I started crying. It just really topped off a bad week.

Dang I'm so sorry. I'm sure your husband was an amazing man and you have my deepest condolences. I moved in 2021 as it was snowing and it was a disaster. I hope that you are keeping well and if it snows again I hope you stay safe

I was 6 during this storm. Funny. That intersection is Bluebonnet and Lamar. I grew up a stones throw from there. I was probably outside playing when they filmed this.

Wow good job locating that! I was wondering where that was and you're right! That building in the background at 4:44 is now the location of Mr. Natural and Bluebonnet Animal Hospital. I was 15 at the time, living in New York, but I live not even a mile north of there now on Lamar. Imagine if they had gone down the street and put the camera on you and said, "Now we have little Ginger Man 512 here, enjoying the snow..."

@@ChrisZ70 Well Austin just got another BIG winter storm. I drove through this intersection again. It wasn’t this bad. COA used little bobcat tractors to plow the road.

I was here for that one. They said it was going to hit on a Thursday, then it stalled out west. Everyone was let out early on Thursday. Friday they said it's coming, but everyone was saying, that's what you said yesterday. Then it started to snow. Everyone started heading home, but by then it was too late. Upper deck of I35 was pretty much a parking lot for at least one day. But it sure was pretty around town. Quiet too.
