I think we are running a reckless risk with Christopher Taylor. he is only 16 yo and his track season is running almost 10 months now and it's not yet over. we run the risk of burning him out before he graduates to the senior ranks.

I can't understand why he needs to be running at the SENIOR trials when he's a 16 year old still in high school. He needs nurturing so that he can live up to his potential instead of being burned out too soon. We have no shot at winning a medal in the men's 400M until he or Bloomfield gets their chances. Let's hope common sense will prevail.
music life The kid has the heart of a lion, he was trying to qualify for a leg on the relay and he could have hurt himself in the process. The coaches of the other top junior athletes wisely pulled them from the trials. Taylor's coach should have done the same

He said in an interview that he was running to get used to running 3 fast rounds in preparation for Junior Olympics.
