Great vid mate thanks heaps for tha ive been looking for someone to demonstrate how much you can fit in the 30ltr overlander..i wasnt sure if i wanted that or the 48..but after watching you i think the 30ltr will be fine..thankyou
I have both the 30L and their 48L. I like that you can attach them via using the beaver tail connectors, one atop the other. There are a few things I don't like about them. They give you a lot of mounting straps, but no mention of how to use them. Through trial and many errors, I did get the to mount on my R1250GSA with the BMW trunk in place. Another thing I don't like is the backpack straps. For me I would have perfered carrying straps. The backpack straps are useless for me. The outside waterproof zippered pockets are also useless. I find it hard to place a piece of paper in them. The inside stiffer is hard to install. You can get it done, but the stiffener is about 30mm too long. While I agree the vent valve is nice, beware of over tightening it. The cap is rather flimsy and will strip the threads easily. Close it till resistance is felt and no more. For the money I paid, l like them. Like most Lone Rider gear you need to play with them to get your use out of them. Are they perfect? No. But pretty close.
You are not wrong with any of your observations. So on my 30 versus the 48 the buckles are different so I couldn't just switch bags I had to swap straps as well, are yours like that? I never used the back pack straps, and like you would rather had a shoulder strap. Ive switched to test the Mosko gear and currently use that stuff, getting ready for a big trip we will see how it does....Dave
If you only need a back paqck then get a back pack which would be 1/3 the weight .. These are very heavy and very heavy built to withstand being strapped on a Motorcycle
What about if the buckle breaks, the one on the bag that fits on the one on the motorbike? I guess we can't replace them no? Are they sturdy enough for offroad riding?
So I have not had any break and I've used these on several BDR rides, but someone did mention that one broke on them, but as I said it hasn't happened to me....Dave

Great question, I wish I Still had the Mosko Moto bag to compare them, but I'll go off memory. I want to say the Mosko Moto bags in general seem thicker, but remember that doesn't really mean stronger or better. I use the Lone Rider bag every day as my travel bag. It is used in my Truck as I travel so not in the elements, but I love the release valve on these bags, so easy to get the trapped air out of them, my nod goes to lone rider on this...Dave

@@jamesbaliko9167 The 48 isn't too big, and depending on what you pack, it leaves room to purchase items? Id go with the larger size over the smaller just for options if it was me. Just because its 48L doesn't mean you have to fill it...Dave
So you have a coff ?? Cot? Table and Chair ?? Audio echos a lot I understood everything you said except for coff.. That being said .. It's hard to find chairs tables ect small enough to carry on a bike.. I would be interested in what brand / model you are useing..??? Opps I paused the Video to ask what a coff is and then later you said cott several times.. I have a Heavy Monsrisity Cott/ Tent that I can take camping when I drive my 3/4 Ton pickup it's nice to be off from the ground ect... It's simply extreamly heavy and Bulky ..
Easy answer is yes I have and carry all 3. So my Chair is a Helinox, the cot I like the best is the FE active, and the table is also the Helinox brand. I have done videos on all of them. I found a new company that has some small items that I have coming, so I'll be doing reviews on those as well....Hope this helps.....Dave

I will check out all three since they are not that blulky .. I never saw your channel before .. found the link after I opned a Lonerider e-mail .. I have the Lone Rider 45 Liter side bags... Not sure if they even make them anymore.. seems 35 Liter is more popular..
@@KendallAdventureandTravel The chairs are from $70.00 to $200. I like the one for $70. Table $140 don't really need.. A cot for $429.00 they must be crazy .. I guess I better order a chair before they raise the price..
I like your reviews, however, your last review of the 50L Mosko duffel was misleading. that duffel packs a punch and too versatile for me and i ride a 1250 GSA

Givi have air release for all their inner bags - nothing new there. I doubt it was that easy to fit the inner board
Fitting the board isn't tough, from what I remember, Ive never taken them out...Dave
