Who else loves Skeletor? The fact that Christmas spirit warms him over is fucking hilarious.
Yes, I know - it's not good. But at least you have a reasonable explanation for Christmas on Eternia - and not a Liveday or SomethingWinterySomething. Queen Marlena was once an astronaut from the earth and landed on Eternia after her ship was hit by meteorites. So it only needs one line from her in the special to explain that Christmas-Thing, cause every fan would know that. (They altered her origin in the remake, but the remake never got a special I think.)
Even the 1997 DKC show calls its Christmas the Festival of Lights.

That would have been pretty unlikely for 1980s animation. Kitty Pyrde was in the original X-men pilot, but 1980s cartoons generally acted as if everyone was nominally Protestant or had a totally made-up fantasy or sci-fi religion.

He-Man and She-Ra both were superhero shows from the 1980's. By today standards, those type of shows are indeed silly, but back then, those were da bomb, especially when you consider that there weren't much original superhero shows during that time.
As a kid born in ‘95, I love how 80s cartoons like Ninja Turtles, He Man and Transformers are so self aware for how cheesy they are, and that’s what makes them fun.

Orco is basically the Jar-Jar Binks of the He Man universe. The character they force in there to be funny or serve a plot convenience, but all they actually do is just make a person cringe.

One thing I've always wondered is this: How is Skeletor so muscular? Is he really all bone or is only his skull exposed with the rest of his body still fully formed?
I've always assumed that some event caused him to lose his face or something like that. As a side-note, NC's Skeletor impression is the best part of this review for me lol :P
In the 2002 He-Man adaption, the skull thing is explained. Essentially, Skeletor got most of his face melted by some sort of potion, and before he died, he made a deal with Hordak that ensured his survival, but at the cost of his face. The skull literally just floats there, and he doesn't have a neck, either.
