No one continues the circle in their tutorials!! They always end after the first row and I’ve been trying to figure this out for the longest as a beginner, so thank you so much for explaining this so clearly 😊

Rule of Thumb (Rounds go by 6 FYI)
    -----------------------
    ~ Round 1 ~
    • 1 x 6 = 6 (so 6 stitches)
    • 6 individual single crochets (US
    terminology)
    ~ Round 2 ~
    • 2 x 6 = 12 (so 12 stitches)
    • Repeat 6 times:
    • 2 stitches per 1 old stitch (an old
stitch is a stitch from the previous
    round)
    ~ Round 3 ~
    • 3 x 6 = 18 (so 18 stitches)
    • Repeat 6 times:
    • 2 stitches per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    ~ Round 4 ~
    • 4 x 6 = 24 (so 24 stitches)
    • Repeat 6 times:
    • 2 stitches per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    ~ Round 5 ~
    • 5 x 6 = 30 (so 30 stitches)
    • Repeat 6 times:
    • 2 stitches per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    ~ Round 6 ~
    • 6 x 6 = 30 (so 36 stitches)
    • Repeat 6 times:
    • 2 stitches per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    • 1 stitch per 1 old stitch
    -----------------------
Basically for each new round you do, you add the extra step “1 stitch per 1 old stitch” to the repeating pattern

Thank you for creating these videos! I have just decided to learn cause I want to try to get good enough to make my kids some toys and your videos are perfect teaching videos. It's so clear what you are going with the yarn and needle and you repeat what you are doing whereas other videos move too fast.
