What if i dont have the reader for electronic handbrake, what will be the consequences? First time changing on electronic handbrake, usually i just press back the pistons and pump them back on. Also dont the rear pads have cables for warning of wear and tear?

You can still use that method to change the front brakes but to do the rear you will need a suitable reader to do this job. Pressing the piston back will only go so far as the foot brake is still hydraulic operated but the hand brake is operated by electric motors. That reader cost me £50 on Amazon. I believe only the front pads have a warning wire because when stoping a front wheel drive car the front brakes are doing 80% of the stopping and wear out much quicker than the rears.

@@Skoglund90 never used one so can’t really help you. If you search the make of reader and your model of car on CZcams I’m sure someone will have made a review on it.
