I'm so glad that You gave me the opportunity to do music for your video, I hope to do more for you in the future!
Dude, you are such a talented musician and I absolutely love everything you make. I am so excited to work with you more in the future!
@Kamui Miracle Apparently humans exist in beastars. However humans are a rare species. In a comic Legom has a crush on a human teacher. There was a discussion on your discord server about the possible implications. I think such things could make for an interesting video talking about the idea and theorizing about the possible implications.
@@KamuiMiracle Ibuki has so much potential, I really don't want him to die, I always think he faked his own death, and stay hide, watching Legoshi, Louis and the remaning lions of the Shishigumi from the shadows until he was able to return, and after Melon being defeated, Ibuki could became the Shishigumi's leader, and became an ally of Legoshi and Louis and helped then protect the Black Market alongside the Shishigumi when they became the Beastars.
Overall I think that Beastars teaches the message that you should be who you are and not what everyone around you thinks. Individualism supersedes Collectivism
I think it's mostly about Beastars breeding of one's individuality to influence the collective rather than its personal gain. The individual will influence the collective as a whole if they are influential enough or powerful.
Such wisdom and praise
I can see why alot of people love Ibuki and found his story ultimately a sad and tragic one. Much of his life was misery, pain, and a sense of never being allowed to be himself, or be jduged for who he was. He was first seen as just a disposible commodity, then a weapon of fear and violence. Nothing more. I am glad Louis gave him the opportunity to be himself and be able to see himself for who he always was deep down...
...But I find his decision to take Louis for a drive supremely selfish and cruel. He decided he could not go on living without Louis, so he forced him into a situation where Louis would have to shoot him, or die. Sure he gave Free an order to shoot him so Louis would survive...But how selfish can you be to force someone you care into a situation that will force them to kill you?
I used to see it as Ibuki doing the right thing, giving Louis a chance to cut and run where the other Lions wouldn't...But ultimately he just refused to go on living without Louis. Choosing to kill yourself because your best friend is leaving is supremely toxic and selfish, considering the rest of the Shishigumi were his 'family' and Louis was like the son he never had.
Imagine if Legosi tried that on Haru because she wanted to break up? I doubt we'd be singing his praises as best boi then.
your Ibuki arguments are always so well thought out, I love him too T-T
Thank you!
I missed him. Wished he could stay with Louis longer
Your studies on Ibuki help bring out the words of why I love Ibuki, as well most of your other videos. You are great at studying and having discussions about storytelling and meaning. Amazing work!
To be honest, Ibuki is the father that Louis deserved. Best Lion Dad ever. RIP Ibuki❤️❤️❤️
I would like to share some input, if it could be called that way, and offer a bit of my perspective on the motive behind Ibuki’s death. Wanna start by saying that I personally think you are absolutely right with your interpretation and that it is in fact one of my favorites out there. Ibuki was well establish as a character so willing to do anything in order for Louis to prosper, and in no doubt does that exclude his own death, but I think such an extreme decision may have also been brought up by an unopened Pandora box of fears. This video helped me noticed that, like you said, Ibuki tends to stay trapped in the rolled assigned to him. Without Louis influence he would have never been able to step out of that act and be his true self, but all of a sudden his safety net gets swift from right under him. I see it as someone struggling to better themself but without their support system they fear retrogression. Maybe Ibuki preferred to push Louis onward and die knowing what happiness was, than lose his guidance and struggle with the possibility of not being able to stir the wheel on his own life and keep from once again being caged in the fake mantra of king of beast. He was more willing to believe that “the light at the end of the tunnel” was a world he be wouldn’t able to accommodate himself in rather than actually trying. One thing I absolutely love about Ibuki’s death is that it ties to Louis’ character journey so deeply. This whole arc starts with Louis killing a lion with pure hatred and no remorse, but ends with him now open to accept the fact that him, and by extension all herbivores, aren’t the only ones who go through hardships, the worlds doesn’t discriminate by species, and now he can’t bring himself to shoot the lion that showed him the truth. Not just that, Louis starts the ding dong manga not wanting to be labeled as weak or just another herbivore, and while Legosi certainly doesn’t, it’s Ibuki who takes it a step further by explaining the ‘why’ to him and at the very end not even knowing how to treat him of not as a lion of the shishigumi. Louis obviously still has his inferiority issues after this, but it’s endearing to see that the next time he sheds his antlers, in front of a whole gang of carnivores, he doesn’t feel the shame, or the need to hide anymore.
Your Chanel has inspire me a lot and I can only hope that one day I can make my own and better explain all this things there. Thank you
Your more correct in this statement than the upvote counter admits. Some people just aren't capable of steering their own ship.
You should be so proud of the work you have done!
Thank you so much man!
One of the most amazing things about nature itself is that we would sacrifice our own lives just to have a morsel of happiness, which Ibuki and Toki did, its rather sad to see
Huh. It's strange, but this video has so much more of an impact on me now than it did when it first came out. I've had a pretty tough year, being rejected from every job I've applied to, and having to work in a pretty soulless environment. It's nice to hear someone else talking about the importance of keeping going. Failures aren't the end, and there will be ups as well as downs.
Cheers Kamui.
I knew from the Ibuki shrine that this video was only a matter of time.
And it was so worth the wait.
Thank you so much
@@KamuiMiracle Aw, thanks. But really I should be the one thanking you for all the hard work on these videos. You're like the go-to content person for Beastars.
i get physical chills and goosebumps from the full ending of beaststars season 2 even in 93F weather
No shit bro 😢
Okay everybody it’s here! Let all stay Calm and just appreciate Kamui’s hard work like this is absolutely amazing great job man!! 💞💞💞💞💞
Thank you so much! This video took so much work but I am so happy with how it came out
Great interpretation, actually got goosebumps watching this video. Louis and Legoshi both going against their will to consume meat to achieve their goals is such a beautiful parallel considering the contrast between their inhibitions and motivations, although I didn't immediately appreciate it at first after finishing S2. While Louis desperately tries to pigeonhole himself into the carnivore role despite his corporeal limitations as a herbivore, Legoshi at last reluctantly unleashes his carnivore instincts and consumes Louis's leg despite his ultimate goal of protecting herbivores.
Lion dad was the best character (in my opinion 😅)
Objectively lol
This is great.
Amazing video! Loved it
I love this video so much
Dang, this was incredible.
Amazing video 👌😭
Great video!! As always, it's amazing to see the amount of care that goes into each video! It's so cool!!
Thank you for all your hard work on this video! Truly amazing with a beautiful message
This video was amazing! I love all your videos :D
Man.. I loved this video! Both the content and the overall message was so well done! I can't wait for the next video!

The wait was most definitely worth it! This video was beautifully worded and I'm glad you were able to finish this project!
Im just gonna say im proud of you, yourself, for pushing through this year, this video was great, and honestly I feel alot better after watching this, thanks!
Amazing work Patrick you never seem to disappoint! Hope you are having a great day
Oh My gOD it's heereeh thank you for your hard work TT
Honestly I love the way u make ur videos, U should be proud of the work you do. You put so much work into it it’s really inspiring
Thank you for all your videos, truly and deeply. Ibuki was an incredibly important character to me and I am so happy you talked about him, your insight was so amazing and wonderful! Again thank you so much!
Ugh this video brought me to tears, I totally didn't see it this way and only took things as literal, my heart is so happy but also aches with this deeper understanding of their struggles/pain/and finding acceptance 😩😭
Love the Ibuki special video! He was such a great character in Beastars! I loved how he and Louis bounded! 😊
Wow... I can't believe how resonant this video was with me. I'm a casual viewer of your channel but this really got me emotional near the end and I can relate so hard. I think no matter what, as long as our nature simply has the will to strive for better, we will always be able to find light.
Yay Ibuki. When I was woching seson 2 of Beasters I was starting so love Ibuki.
Not first, but close! Love you Pat!
my GOD it's HERE!!!
So happy to see all the hard work done on this. Congratulations man! Really proud of you.
Thank you so much
Moving forward is something we can all learn to do, like Louis I was born in darkness and i thought it was an aspect of my life better off ignored. But after many years I went back and learned to grow bit by bit as a person because of what i had to go through. Life does get better and sometimes all it takes is a friend to help you see that. Kamui I really enjoy your videos and the beastars universe :)
Finally!!!! a blessing from the lord!!! T.T
I think this is a great video! I have always pressured myself to keep a smile on my face and i have always help others before me. I never took my own health before someone else's which i know is not healthy. But i always thought someone else's well being is way more important than mines. I think this video highlights a lot of things that are similar with me. And overall a great message!
If I could I would honestly make a video on how may times he had said ibuki in this video-
Beastars will always be my favourite piece of media, not because of the characters or the story or the themes. But because of the people I met in this community.
For me us because of the characters,I lije them so much!
I dont know if you are going to see this but your message of moving forward and that things will get better was really important to me with all the anxiety I am dealing with right now.
Nice
YES OH MY GOD
Oh boy. I'd love to see you talk about the world ends with you and persona 3.
Ibuki is the best, man.
Having louie as leader of the shishigomi was a great move on Ibuki's part it was that idea that redeemed the shishigomi he protected that hope for the shishigomitill the bitter end
Deep
That he can talk about Ibukis death without crying is amazing. If he cried I wonder how many takes it took
Great analysis
Ibuki... Ibuki is the reason why I trying my best to move forward. Kamui Miracle, thank you for explaining the details about Ibuki's life and his reasons for ending his life. I understand why he do that, and is not fair to end his story soon. But is like you say, "not everyone have a happy ending." But for what Ibuki did and for the sake of Louis and his friends, is the true happy ending. 💖
We will missed him, and his name will never be forgotten.
Rest In Peace Ibuki 🥺🙏
Man, using Sophia’s theme is an instant way to make this hit extra hard. Cause it really works for what’s being discussed too.
I love how everyone forgets that in season 1 off the anime when Legosi is infiltrating the Shishigumi’s hideout Agata literally gets SHOT AND DIES by Gouhin shooting him with a bamboo arrow😭
Obrigado
23:46 - 24:07 i suddenly choked up when i see the "A silent voice" and "Kill la kill" a watch the movie of "A silent voice" and watch the show of "Kill la kill" in my otaku days when i was age 12-13! I'm 15 now i really didn't expect those shots! 😅😳
You already heard about Gakkou Gurashi,Patrick? Is an amazing and criminally underrated anime that one of the most important lessons is that you have to try to overcome a difficult and painful past and moving foward. But they showed this in a such creative way though the female protagonist Yuki and her friends that this turned that show extremely unique for me and I feel her story makes a wonderful parallel with Ibuki's,principally with her speech in the end.I think is an amazing you would really like Patrick!😁😁
Also, her teacher is an amazing person and one of my favourite anime characters of all time.
“I really grew a lot in 2021!”
My 2021: *Withered Wojak*
Serouisly this video makes me so 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Pog
I can hear your voice getting a bit heavy at the end there... I can tell ya almost cried there... Mate... Imma be honest ya help me for makin me feel better (i'm late to this vids due to me getting a bit stress due to well... Overwork i suppose) i'm getting better and feelin my will for doing more VA getting better! Also y'all doing a great work
I did not expect you of all people to go to a Furry con! Pretty cool!
But yeah, your speech at the end was very much needed since I've been actively unhappy for quite a while (mainly during the pandemic), so I have to thank you for that!
IBUKI!!!!
I'm still new to Beaststars but I think Ibuki might be my favorite character, his complexity as a character, plus being such a great father figure is just so cool to me. I'm sad he had to die 😢
(Also this may sound weird but why are there not more fanfictions of Ibuki and Louis’s father-son relationship?!)
ibuk
litl lion man
Bongo you are legendary
hey uhhhhh...sorry that I shot everyone's favorite lion
Why would you do that Free :(((
@@KamuiMiracle HE LITERALLY TOLD ME TO!
Yes for most people there can be a light of some form hidden somewhere in the darkness. But life isn't a tunnel, it's a cave. Some people won't find a way out or will have it collapse in on them before getting through it.
Luck and chance do exist. For some of us lost on that cave it's the only thing we can count on to escape. Increasing those chances however are difficult. Every single action of your existence and even some factors you have no control over ( genetics, injuries, abnormalitys etc ) controls those odds at any given second.
Allot of people just aren't capable of finding a way out. Hope is like water, you need it to survive. But you can't hold it in your hands without it slowly leaking out, evaporating, or slipping between your fingers. Once it's gone, finding a new source of it sometimes just doesn't happen.
But hey it's like you said. Not every story has a happy ending.
Wonder why the anime didn’t explained his tattoos more??
My Favourite characters in Beastars are Melon,Legosi,Haru, everyone in the shishigumi,Yafya,Louis,Gosha,Eugene, ,Mugi, the 701 boys,Bill,Savon,Kyuu
u gotta podcast
What software do you use to make these amazing videos???
I love Ibuki!!! I got a kitten 2 months ago who I name Ibuki in honor of!!
They never showed this stuff in the netflix show they left out a lot
I feel like Ibuki got less screen time in the anime and they cut out a pretty good amount from the manga
@@KamuiMiracle hello :D, so yea, they left out a lot. I was really looking forward to seeing this all in the show but then they changed the flow of the scenes and then they left out some stuff. It was a tad bit dissapointing because he's my fave character other then Airdo.
Really hoping we get a bonus episode or a flashback thing at the start of Season 3 so we can touch on that a lil' bit more... *Ibuki deserves better dagnabbit*
@@ThatGenericPyro I totally agree honestly he deserved more.
Ay there's ibuki the other father of louis
Potentially, in addition to the fear that Louis might not have been able to let go of/move on from him being a factor in why Ibuki chose death, it may also have been out of a fear that he himself might not have been able to let go of Louis. Therefore, he might have feared that his own love (of a friendship/non-romantic form) might have been as a lampshade over Louis, that would have kept that light of Louis for itself/himself, rather than allowing it to extend outwards. Thus, the loving self-sacrifice of Ibuki for Louis might have had that desire to not shackle Louis to himself, and by extension to the back alley market as Louis' prior past had, as part of its motivation. This thereby would also be an expression of hope that Louis' potentiality could be actualized as a positive force for change at a broader scale, in light of the positive change that he'd already brought about in his leadership of the shishigumi, and hope that Louis would himself also be pulled upwards by the other source of light distinct from the back alley market which Louis evidently was leaving the shishigumi to assist/pursue, which happened to be Legoshi & his ethos.
Thus, rather than stemming from a lack of hope as to how Ibuki himself could live on without Louis, Ibuki's sacrifice may instead have had far more to do with a fear that living on could, by both his own love for Louis and Louis' love for him (referring here to the non-romantic love of friendship, of course) prevent Louis from striving as boldly for that which he'd shown to Ibuki as forms of love (still of non-romantic kinds) which could themselves yield even higher heights than the love/care which Ibuki and Louis had for each other.
Is this the sort of thing one should replicate irl, of choosing suicide out of love for someone else where there's the option to continue living on, potentially even bringing about the desired change through other means? Emphatically no, yet it does seem to strongly link with both the ideas of suicide to honor the authority which is above one's self (akin to something like seppuku) and more typically Christian ideas of martyrdom/self-sacrifice stemming from love/a desire for the best for another.
I find it funny that this character has the same birthday as me LOL
12:42 whats the piano song?
Please next video about SEAL in beastars 👈👈👈
Ah ibuki that one that made louis stop acting like such a git
Bro you sounding a lot like Eren Yeager at the end
What's that really pretty piano ost that plays during the video?
Great analysis! But honestly I never understood why Louis had to leave the shishigumi to save legoshi. I understand the argument that Louis shouldn’t lead a life of crime or that he needed to move on from the black market but I don’t understand why he needed to leave the shishigumi to do that. If anything, he needed the shishigumi’s strength just as much as the shishigumi needed his brain power and leadership to improve the black market and finally move forward.
Hate to ask this, but do you talk about anything besides Beastars?
What volume is Gosha and Lugosi’s grandmother’s (her name escapes me even though it was just said in this video) relationship explored?
12:00
40th
Yes I counted
Deer son would have preferred to have lion dad not kill himself. It seemed selfish to me, just like Toki.
Ibuki is daddy lmao
Yeah, it was a little messed up to include penectomy and castration, poor guy.
another twewy fan? 😦
One of my favorite games of all time. I’m LOVING Neo so far
