- We've seen Mario vs Sonic enough times, now its time for Nintendo's swordsman to take on Sega's mascot!
Link, the hero of Hyrule, takes on Sonic, the fastest thing alive, in Link vs Sonic!
This is an intense battle featuring power-ups and weapons. Only one will survive...
This video is not aimed at children.
This is all just my opinion. There is no right or wrong answer!

Sonic used Excalibur because it would make the fight more awesome. And Link has the Fierce Deity Mask, which makes the battle truly fun to watch.

BOTW Link literally houses an entire dimension inside of his Sword *yes*, and entire dimension which grants him the power of an entire Universe as stated by the monks. (this you can find in Trail of the Sword)
He also can revive from death.
This alone is just BOTW Link, most the time in Debates we use something called composite Link, which is all of Link's abilities and feats and powers across all different games combine into one Link.
This Link Multiversal, As the Master Sword he wields was made by 4 Gods, Hylia, Din, Faror and Nayru, Hylia has created several Universes Whilst The Goddesses Have created entire Multiverses effortlessly. Hylia and the 3 Golden goddesses poured their PURE power into the blade, giving it Multiversal AP, he used the Master Sword to defeat and seal Demise (a being who in the fight, casually Creates and entire Universe).
Composite Link also wields the full tryforce which guess what? was made by the 3 golden goddesses and harnesses the ability to shape reality itself on a Multiversal scale, Yes, Shape reality.
He Also has the ability to become intangible due to a Cloak that makes him invisible and impervious to attack.
Link also has the Ancient arrow which Literally when hitting the enemy, bends reality and "consinges them to oblivion" AKA making it so they literally don't exist, this ignores durability and is a 1 shot.
This easily trumps almost every single character and Sonic, oh god Sonic has a questional Universal feat that is extremely contrivertial, which is not even comparable to Link, sorry bud, Link just.... is way more powerful.

Just because Sonic is a blue hedgehog, doesn't mean he can't defeat Link. That's the equivalent of saying Link is just a blonde guy with a sword.
Yeah for sure, Sonic isn't just a blue hedchog, he is recognizably and respectavly Multi-Universal+ to low Multiversal for sure, and yeah he has pretty damn consistent HyperSonic+ Combat speed with MFTL (Travel) speed, aswell as heavy Reality Manip with Chaos emralds on a Universal sclae, which comparativly to a lot of characters is extremely powerful!!
But Link still beats him (composite), As he scales to many more Universes than Sonic has (despite some mis-conceptions of the arabian knights being Universes, even though they are explicitly stated to be planets) Link sclaes Directly do around 20+ Dimensions/ Universes including an infinite void that is in-between dimensions that is beyond time, which idk if it counts as like a Universe but it's deffinetly something to note.
Also when weilding the full tryforce draws the full power of the three golden goddesses which have been stated to have created an immesurable amount of realms/Universes in the Zelda series, most of which we haven't heard about or seen, but throughout the series have gotten a bit of a sample from (Like Din's realm and Trial of the Sword and the Twilight realm etc etc etc)

An astral plane is hundreds of times larger than our universe as quoted by wikipedia. And in the game it was stated to be infinite in size. It also contained billions of stars. So it's confirmed each story is a universe, not to mention in black knight the story of King Arthur was all in one universe (alternate). The Arabian nights continues 1001 stories. As said before there's one known to contain an infinite multiverse on its own.
Sonic not only crossed it but defeated Erazor who absorbed half of the book before fighting Sonic. Also Sonic was weakened and he surpassed Erazor a long time ago. He even mocked him even though he was dangerously close to dying from the curse Erazor put on him. Sonic also beaten Void who threatened to destroy majinaryworld, a world containing the universe-sized dreams.
Solaris is a multiversal and higher threat as he is stated to target everything and change everything to nothing and considering how he was also attempting to EAT the universes, he could may as well do that too. Being a super dimensional being, Solaris is beyond dimensionality as proven by several accurate translators. Not to mention he scales to jungian archetypes and transfinite mathematics, both of which instantly puts anyone scaling to it at High outerversal at minimum. This is not including quantum time which puts Solaris at high hyperversal. If you wanna low ball Solaris, then he was also called an extra dimensional being, which automatically puts him at complex multiversal.
Funnily enough, Sonic scales to the Archie comic verse too since Ian Flynn has stated that game sonic along with other Sonic media are parallel universes to archie, and the comics itself considers themselves as expanded universes to Sonic. Ian Flynn reconfirmed this again, and he also stated that Archie Solaris and Game Solaris are the same being.
Sonic is too fast and powerful. Even if you lowball Solaris and others, in forces Eggman said that all of his previous defeats, humiliations and losses to Sonic will be returned to Sonic by a trillion fold(Japanese version, English says thousand fold). He later put all of that into the phantom ruby which Infinite uses. After beating Infinite Sonic then proceeds to do almost 3/4 of the work to destroy Eggman's final trump card, the final death egg which surpasses even Infinite. Link stands no chance, especially with Sonic's haxes in super form. Sega even stated that infinite was the strongest villain Sonic has faced supporting the in game lore. Eggman also said the ruby was more powerful than the master emerald.
One Chaos emerald one shotted Time Eater, who destroyed all of time and space with his presence and Eggman said he will use it to undo his previous defeats (one of them is from Shuffle where Eggman's goal was to stop Sonic from saving majinaryworld and steal the precious stone for himself) so that puts Time eater at High multiversal at minimum.
Sonic surpassed time and space since cd. Nothing special.

If link had his items from all of his series he would crush sonic for two reason. The first reason would be link has item in the series that make his take up to 75% less damage and his item such as the golden gaunlets would make him increadibly strong while the peagauses boots would make him mush faster. while sonic is fast and strong he doesn't really have anything to face up to the triforce of fierce deity mask which actually makes link a warrior god

Not really, the Sage Rauru is stronger than Time as shown in *pg. 77 of Hyrule Historia.* Link scales to Ganondorf who dwarfs Rauru in power. So Base Sonic vs. Base Link is an interesting matchup.

Link has infinite AP sword which one shots anyone. He has invincible armor, and invisible cape, and an item which grants permeability. Moreover, he has this potion which gives him infinite energy for 3 days. Not only that, he can also slow back time, stop time and even rewind time.
Whether it be super or hyper form, sonic is getting one shotted easily.

The reason Sonic didn't die from mortal wounds is because in Sonic and the Black Knight Sonic takes a brutal beating from the dark queen, but after Sonic transforms into Excalibur Sonic all his wounds heal
