For all the years I have followed Mary Black, this song and 'Heaven in Your Eyes' have moved me to the depths of life. Mary makes me miss my homeland...her voice is Irish at the deepest level.
Huge fan here also. Short story.My children were reared on the singing of Mary Black among other Irish singers. My eldest daughter was in Philadelphia. She saw a poster for a Mary Black concert.We are Irish.Live in Ireland. My daughter thought it was a tribute act.She called to book tickets. She asked " is it the real Mary Black?". Offcourse it was.She never lived it down. My daughters Birthday today. For some spiritual reason i have been drawn to Mary Black tonight. I saw my daughter today on her Birthday. That is a bigger deal than imaginable. ☘
