As a Marvel reader from the 70's, I gotta admit that this one is spot on. Taylor Swift is the Disco Dazzler in real life so I know this generation of kids (including mine) will love this!

Not even a fan but she is absolutely the best candidate. If she made a mutant album I would buy it. I think they originally wanted to a Dazzler movie back in the day but it fell through. A Dazzler film would be a really interesting POV introduction for mutants in the MCU. Celebrity who falls from grace because she comes out as a mutant to the public.
She actually is really good in acting too. She was a theatre kid growing up, and the couple of roles she’s popped in for in the past have all been good.

Yeah, I agree with the majority that casting Taylor Swift as Dazzler is a money-making move for Disney and the MCU.
A good story written by good writers directed by a good director and edited by editors and VFX artists who actually have time to do their jobs is and was a money making move for marvel. They've stopped doing this recently but having taylor on isn't gonna mean jackshite if this is all they have going for them.
It’s completely possible that the Happy Meal merchandising piece was based on the previous version of the movie that had the Serpent Society in it and just wasn’t properly disposed of once Marvel made the changes to the script
I think we all knew taylor Swift would be in this due to her friendship with Ryan reynolds. I'm not sure how I'll take her as a superhero, I don't know if I'll be able to take her seriously, but hey, I hope she will be great in acting.

a toy that was contracted to be made like 3 years ago would in no way shape or form be any indication that the character would still be in the film after reshoots that havent even started yet. thats insane. even more so considering that its just a toy leak and not even some official announcement. the toy company has nothing to do with what gets cut from the film. they produce the toys that marvel asks for. zero reason to think that the character would (or wouldnt be) in the movie based on this toy leak.
The things ppl see shit and start to draw magical lines to add up their story. Same thing happens with some Shang Chi toys that dropped but never appeared in the film as well smh
Swift would be a great casting as Dazzler! I imagine it'll be quick and nothing more than a scene grab to draw in the general audience that'd pay to see her in anything in the same manner that the NFL saw a ratings increase just by having her in attendance. Back then, child Daphne Keen was a great X - 23 because her small size made it able for her to be thrown at stunt men in ways you can't quite do with an adult.

Considering dazzlers role in the music industry Taylor Swift would be a good fit. However, with a lot of the MCU being in space does as power would become somewhat useless as in space no one can hear you scream.
