But to be clear (and would respectfully suggest you correct) Eric is NOT playing a Hammond organ .. instead a Nord keyboard using their "jazz organ" simulator .. worlds apart on so many levels. To the uninitiated they may sound "close enough", but such casual equivalency dismisses the vast history and contributions Hammond organs and artists have made to so many musical genres .. Which, as a jazz artist, I would hope you would respect ..
To be clear Eric is playing the drums. He recorded the drums on some jazz artists like Dexter Gordon, Hank Mobley, Ben Webster, I think you know these ones! As for the organ, we had a Hammond B3, but the club was 4 floors no elevator, maybe next time you can come help! Thanks for checking it out!
