- While creating this Custom WordPress Block, we tackle a few different topics. We learn how to make a basic block, and then we add a query loop for a custom post type. We also learn about block styles and editor styles. This just touches on the capabilities of blocks, which can be customized with all sorts of editable attributes so authors can have control over the content and styling you choose. For a slightly more detailed video about creating custom blocks, see the resources below.
đ Note: At 10:02, you see a "block encountered an unexpected error" message. Changing the block type to dynamic or hybrid will load the block in the editor in a different way and prevent that message from appearing.
