  • Custom Post Types and Taxonomies help us structure the data on our website. Although they aren't directly related to creating a theme, and arguably the code doesn't belong in a theme, in reality we tend to create our themes with a particular website's needs in mind. For that reason, I'm including this section to show how to create the post type, taxonomy, content page template, and archive template.
