TLDR answer? No. Its a very toxic place with very few pleasant conversations. I had to adopt a very patient outlook to spend time in there, and I've gotten used to winding down people who are off the rails so its a bit more bearable. Something I've noticed is that the attitude you bring to the server is the one you'll get back, kill em with kindness so to speak.
I love csgo, and the surf community. But I don't think the voice chats are for everyone and it takes a certain temperament to stay there for awhile. But when the people are nice and chill, and everyone's having a good time? The place is bliss!
