These are great but for the first one, surely you have to secure the stitches under the repair or they’ll just unravel further up to the stitches used to secure the repair and beyond?
I find these videos to be amazing!
Near the beginning, as you were doing the vertical rows, I noticed open loops of the white were just knit over without anchoring them. What will stop that row (column?) from continuing to unravel?

Where can I get that double sided hook?
Finally I found one in my country (Finland) by the name of 'ryijykoukku', a hook you use to weave ryas ('ryijy', a rug on the wall). Hope it is not too big, since it seems impossible to find the hooks in the internet (other than Temu...). The one I found in a shop is way too small and suitable for very thin sewing yarn or lace yarns.
EDIT: Latch hook seems to be the name in English.
Try looking up knitting machine repair needles and crochet hook for hair interlocking. That’s how I found mine. Hope this helps:)
It’s called a latch hook, it comes in latch hook kits but you can buy it separately
