Very nice job.!!
Where are yu from.??
How can I buy one?
If I sat like these guys on the floor for 30 minutes, I wouldn't be able to stand up again.
“30 minutes”… 5 for me.😫
They are dummies
Hahahahaaa😂😅. Oldman.❤
Chill gramps
they haven't invented tables yet
I watch a lot of Forged in Fire in the U.S. They flatten out the billet, and then cut it in pieces with a grinder, restack, and re-fire. This dude just puts 2 divots in and folds it upon itself while still in the automatic pounder. Next Level!!!!!
Freaking beautiful
He's still using steel of an unknown type and carbon content that was FILTHY when the bullet was stacked and welded.
The hammer on FIF is a toy in comparison. I don’t know why that show doesn’t invest in a real hammer like this. Would be much better to watch. With this kind of hammer you can weld just about anything.
I wouldn’t question Pakistanais Craftmanship,frankly »Dude »you’ve got a lot to learn,but that’s normal for an American…
Experts in iron polishing. Despite the simplicity of the workshop, the result is amazing. Excellent work. I hope to get a knife of this beautiful type.
Yes they're knockoffs. But they're made in a cinderblock room with ancient equipment by true artists. Imagine what they could do with modern equipment.
Just raw doggin’ it right into the SULFIRIC ACID
i saw the same and said to myself is that safe
that's gonna leave a mark!!
It's not the idela procedure but it must be a 5% pickle anyway.
Blatant copy of the Laguiole - right down to the bee on back of the spring - just without the quality steel & craftsmanship of a genuine Laguiole...
Yeah, they never show where the piles of blade steel come from either.
Tin can Damascus.
Geeeeeze…. Calm down. The price reflects the quality. Laguiole aren’t that good compared.
Don’t be surprised that these guys aren’t contract building for Laguiole
You can buy more then 15 this floding knives in the price of 1 laguiole knife. I know the difference between quality but reality is laguiole knife is overpriced.
Better than the inflated known knives.
Surely they must clean the face of all the pieces of metal so it will forge together well any dirt and it will not forge together
I'm sure the scale is wire brushed when needed.
Very skilled workers and a remarkable product. I regret that knives made in Asia have not got a good responce. I noticed during profiting the blade they were heated on the belt sander to the extent that the blanks got black, in places. Perhaps keeping the temperature lower by dipping i water would improve the quality of the knife.
That's before heat treatement, so it's of no consequence.
@@chapiit08I see that you understand heat treatment very well 😄 🙈 of course local overheating and bluing to blackening of the blade even before hardening is bad, because the crystalline lattice will be broken and there will still be a soft spot in that place after clouding and if it is close to the blade, the blade will fall out in that place and make a tooth

Zpětná vazba
@@feg0067 I own one of these knives, no problem with edge retention and no chips. For the price it's more than ok. And I do know a thing or two about heat treatment. Too much vodoo in it by people like you when there is not.
I believe Laguiole is a region in France where these knives were first made. Their symbol is the bee that you see @ 20:12. Not being made in France these would be replicas but very nice indeed. And yes, they are world famous.
Ustalarım ellerinize sağlık
Very Well done ! i do think the shape of the handle is slightly unconventional , but that’s okay it’s certainly a Owners preference on a Custom Fabrication I’m a retired Woodworker (retired ) and over the years i got used to using traditional Shaped Handles instead of manufacturing or shaping my own ? Oddly enough i actually have small hands and probably could have benefitted making Custom handles ?
I love this kind of work and craftsmanship, these guys are amazing!
Straight inhaling micarta, bone, and wood shavings from the grinder!
If the claim is that the knives are French Laguiole Folding Pocket Knife, the video says differently. It's certainly not France, and if they are stamping the copies with French Laguiole, CZcams should be ashamed of supporting the breaking of copyright laws.
Sure it’s not France,I know L’aguiole well,these Pakistan? knives look better,especially the steel. Laguiole use’s 440,it’s rubbish…
Copyright laws don't exist in every country so providing they sell them selectively they aren't acting illegally.
@luckydwi3791 Thank you, I've learned something after researching your comments.
Laguiole is copied as well from Sardinian knive, especially "coltello arburese" model, check on google .
Nice and out standing work
Outstanding work thank you for sharing this with us
Wow 😲
Very nice idea...great skills idol... Watching from Philippines 🇵🇭🙏
Original Pakiyol. Cheap Not so bad. A french Laguiole is another Level 😅
It’s amazing to me that they have these giant, expensive, modern equipment and yet they’re in something like a mud brick building!
By the way, I am still very impressed by these men!
Excelente video muy bien filmado y editado, seguid asi.
Kolapuri knives ..so much hard work..hats off to the makers of the knife n the video
Do you know anything about health and safety requirements
Beautifully made. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I would like to buy one of these knives. 👍👍
No Flux? Usually there's no gaps between the steel layers when being heated... oxygen is bad and causes inclusions and poor adhesion between layers. But then again, these knives are strictly ornamental.
Shit Pakistan damascus .....🤷
In this excellent video, there is a missing link, which is the method of engraving the back of the knife from the beginning of where it is attached to the wood. I mean the zigzags on the beginning of the back of the knife. Perhaps this is the secret of the profession, but something remains mysterious.
It's flle work. Do yourself a favor and look up Kyle Royer and watch some his Videos. He's goofy at times but straight up master smith.
Bellissimi e bravi gli operatori
Amazing skills
Great skills work
Beautiful work have good day
I have a couple of these knives. Mine are smaller, for UK legal reasons. My knives come from a company called Perkins. The blades are only 70 mm/ 2.5" long. They cost me £65 each. Looking at these attractive, full sized knives, I would expect them to be more expensive.
Who wouldn't want one?
They do the job they were made for.
I just hope that all those fellows get a decent wage, though, I doubt it!
Thank you for sharing this terrific video! 🙏👍✌️🇬🇧
I actually have a few pattern welded steel knifes from asia like this they are cheaper then the high quality ones and a right pain in the bum, they rust worse then anything, thats why I stopped buying them also the metal fittings discolour easily and go green
Nothing beats putting your hands in sulfuric acid with no gloves on
Good job guys god bless 👍🙏
Beatiful vary good 👍🏻💯💯
Hello from Laguiole....🇨🇵
These look like a quality knife
Good content. Great use of labor & technology. Stay safe. Thank you.
hasil karya yg luar biasa ❤👍👍🇲🇨
Well done! They are also way cheaper than the original and the quality us great indeed
Real hard work
I love the wobbly drills. good for oval shaped holes
I thought the exact same!!!
Belíssimo trabalho parabens
Amazing very laborious
I had a friend who made really expensive knives " BJ Snow ", so much talent and he earns every dime I've seen him take 3-6 meters of 1/2 Elavader cable.... Puer magic And with a 3" blade no Less than a gran then upstart about 7-10 K for a weapon
Maybe I wasn't enough attentive, but I didn't see the way of "rear part with bee" contruction...
I know. I think they didn't include it. I scrolled though it a couple times and didn't see them filing it out or attaching it. It's not a small detail. It's one of the defining design features of the Laguiole.
🎧🎬♻️ Excelente 🌐✔️

Excellent. Nice knives and well made video !
wonderful skills by all of them..Nice finished product..I want a set please. Make it easy to purchase please..
They spend time on finishing the knife.. But what is the quality of the blade?
Super !
Good Nice ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!
They work for pennies an hour.
Mais où est l'inspection du travail ? Laguiole made in India
Nice!
That billet block soukd have no pockets of air orcgaps in any layers that will cause delamination
Pakistan tools are underrated, these guys do amazing work
Increíble y seguro.que muy mal pagado.
@@MrFcoBonilla no I’m for real I own a hoof knife it was made there , and it works good

Nice vid. Nice knives
I am always amazed at how clean their clothes are considering doing this daily for a job?
Very beautiful knifes. I would like to buy one.
Amazing! All of them have two feet and two hands with five fingers each. No masks, no globes. Industrial Security is an unknown concept there! They are amazing in take care or we are stupids! But is good to see everybody is OK! Wonderful work!
They look nice. I wood buy a few to resale, but they wood have to take $20.00 for set of 10 knives.
Seems to be copy from french knife Laguiole. There is the logo of the fly.
Can they not afford to provide benches for the craftsmen?
How about protective gloves for the guy putting his hands in the water with the sulfuric acid added to it?
OSHA would go nuts writing violations in that place.
Nice knives though.
Amazing what is accomplished but techniques could be better executed. Go watch Kyle Royer just once.
Cool
It's called "counterfeit laguoile knife" actually.
Highly skilled knife smiths. I loved the way different metals were kneeded together. I loved the end product of pocket knives.
Couteaux LAGUIOL
Why you not google and check quality and review, they are not able to cut anything, being sharpened or lay on shelf . eeewes quality.
Gee, they love using those highly abrasive grinding stones to burn the living crap out of anything steel they make. Even after they supposedly "heat treat" the blade. They hit a few more times and then acid treat it before they put a false edge on it. If you're buying one of these, you're going to have to pull it apart and heat treat the blade yourself to make it usable. Or it's just a pretty paper weight.
Save up and buy the real thing by a company that just makes knives, and makes them right.
They only use the best car bumper steel for these.
@@fredbecker607 You're missing the point. Plus, it doesn't matter what steel they use.
what i see...you try to explain..they wrong about heat treatment...😊 i understand but can you fly to tell them😂
I enjoyed the video. Are these knives sold abroad, available for purchase online?
At any American flea market
A pale imitation of French laguiole, the finishes leave something to be desired.
And the price?
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
Muslims very good culture and hand work
good
