The Lenz was the original explosive bow. I remember when it first came out and how wild it was as a weapon, I'm so happy we got a Prisma lenz

It's so weird hearing Lenz as a meme. I haven't played WF in a long time, but Lenz used to be one of the top weapons in the game when it came out. You would see it EVERYWHERE. Could one-shot almost all enemies in any mission.

The game still says Vaykor Marelok is my most used secondary because it was all I ever used for my first 3 or 4 years of play.

It’s my most used now, I have like 5 multi shot dealing 100+ status chance with 13k a shot
With its augment mod and a good multishot riven you can fire 5 bullets every shot, its not great but its pretty funny to have a not-shotgun.
One of the few weapons in the game that can passively benefit from the Primary Frostbite arcane, giving you always up multishot and even more crit damage.
It's still not amazing, but its a refresh of a classic.
So time's a circle for Warframe and Brozime has become the irl Drifter according to the timer. Duviri done broke the time continuum it seems...

i have a wishlist of weapons i hope get a Kuva and Tenet variant, Amprex would make a nice addition, forgot it existed. Incarnon should be left for old weapons that cant be made into Kuva or Tenet variations.

I just got a Lenz riven a week ago! So hyped for it now! I was about to use it as transmuted fodder.
I think duviri has made branching out with your off meta weapons obviously viable. It's nice to use other weapons than my felarx, laetum and praedos, is getting kinda stale with my weapon selection. I'm most likely leveling and adding forma to underdeveloped weapons in my inventory while cracking relics expecting them to be in duviri eventually which is also fun and rewarding to see how powerful some of these other weapons can be.
I decided to use Frost with it, used Biting Frost on him, and it’s kinda fun to use especially if your in need of that Red Crit Dopamine as it can hit hard and red crits are frequent.

The 8 ammo maximum is upsetting. I assume it’s because DE is afraid aoe will become meta again but at the same time the incarnon’s have aoe so…
Lenz has always had less ammo, it has innate ammo mutation and was part of its initial gimmick way back

AoE didn't even become bad with the ammo, it just became less end-all-be-all option, and made room for other weapons to see more action...alas, it feels like that's all thrown in the trash when some of Week 2+ incarnons came along, AoE after AoE with gazillion ammo, baffling to me.

@@Wing0fSilver except that doesn't take into account heat procs. stripping armor from heat procs and the damage over time effect they will give and that at a low enough crit multiplier 90% elemental damage will just flat out Give you more damage in the end than the 60% crit

Literally me after seeing his Lenz video last night. Was surprised to see the prisma Lenz today and knew this video was inevitable lol.
I was blown away by the Lenz when I first got it, then I put faction gas on a Staticor when that was still a thing, and wondered why Lenz was doing like a 10th of the dmg vs. a single target.
(Tbf, gas also did toxin, which did more vs. those corrupted heavy gunners, but still) Then faction gas Staticor also became incredibly underwhelming. I'm still not over the fact they nerfed gas like crazy, while viral, an already great element, was the one they decided to buff like crazy. Did you really have to invalidate all that effort I put into faction gas setups such as Napalm Grenades, S&A Prime etc. etc. with rivens and all? It's time we buff gas back up a bit, I'll suck up the faction riven loss cause it's a convoluted and tedious thing to account for anyway.

It only takes 2 status effects for Galvanized Aptitude to be better than Hammer Shot, assuming you're not buffing your crit rate with Arcane Avenger or something. Since the initial wave is guaranteed to proc cold, and will usually also proc viral or whatever you've modded for, you don't really need any external source of extra status effects. Of course, some Saryn spores or something would just make it even better though.
aptitude only works on the main bow hit, not the AOE, while Hammer shot effects all enemies inside it
@@ESD8000 Oh right, I keep forgetting that they nerfed it. Still, Hammer Shot is only ~30% more damage, plus some status chance. It's not really worth using without a crit rate buff.

This bow is insane with a good riven and gal mods but it’s definitely more than a 1 forma build if you want it to go brrrr…. Not to mention arcane acceleration…. Lenz wrecks…. Don’t sleep

@@noahedenborg4221 A wildly inferior option to any other arcane you could use does not, in fact, work. The only time it would work is if you had a Primary version of the Epitaph where it inflicts an automatic cold proc and just generally doesn't give a damn about its own damage because its main usage is as a primer. And thats -if- you also wouldn't benefit more from slotting in Primary Dexterity for your melee's sake.
