I have both too, and you should really try to use BOTH at the same time...... if you want that 80's ultra lush Tri-stereo chorus tone, it gets really really close.... I run my Ce2 into the DC2 but in stereo using 2 amps !

I have both from the 80s Japan made, and I use the CE2 more. I have not tried the DC2 in stereo but I bet that would be awesome.

Eu tenho um Dimension C praticamente "mint condition"...consegui por 500,00 na OLX...simplesmente, na minha opinião, o melhor chorus q existe...gosto também da funcionalidade, pois já vem com regulagens básicas e eu não tenho muita paciência para knobs...hehe...

I have both. An 1983(MIJ) CE-2 which I bought for €45 six years sgo. I find the CE-2 muddy at best and use the DC-2 on my main board as it's cleaner and fuller and I use the CE-2 as a back-up on my second board with rate at 3 O'Clock and Depth at 9 O'Clock. The CE-2 Waza is where it's at now really, with CE-1 mode there too but I can't justify the price as I bought the VB-2W last year and set low it's awesone, absolutely awesome. The sound is wide and lush even in mono. It's a must have for modulation heads!
I have a Keeley modded MIJ CE-2, which sounds as close to a CE-1 as I've heard ... the DC-2 is great too, but *sounds digital, like a DC-3, CE-3, etc ... and I LOVE the LUSHness of analog ... :D

The DC-2 Dimension C does not sound digital and is an ANALOG pedal too. It just sounds less muddy than the CE.

Nice comparison. 2 Great pedals. I had the Original CE-2 ( however ) - If you want the Alex Lifeson Chorus Tones, you need the Free The Tone Tri-Avatar Chorus - from Japan ( I own it / phenomenal ). If you want that 80's Rack Tri Chorus Tone, you need to get The Shiva LiL Wave from Italy. Trust Me - I am a Chorus Fanatic. Other pedals of mention: Analogman Bi-Chorus, Tortuga Martini Chorus, Jam Pedals Waterfall - All Incredible.

Yes he did. Awesome Pedal ( however ) Technology-marches-on. I now Love the Free the Tone Tri Avatar Multi Dimensional Chorus = Phenomenal ( unless ) you want That 80's Rack Chorus Tones - then you will need the Shiva Little Wave Tri Chorus from Italy. All 3 units are: Top of the Line.

Dimension tem um som lindo, parece que rola um chorus dentro de outro chorus doidera, mas gostaria de saber como ele se comporta com saturação, no clean ta bonito tanto o DC2 como o CE2.

Got it. I do not like to change pedals. When the pedals have a lot of noise, okay to modify, otherwise I prefer to leave as factory and add compressors or equalizers.
The "trick" with the DC-2 is to try and get two or all of the buttons pressed down at once.
And another is to try and get all four buttons in the up position.
Dimension C is slightly too bright, CE-2 was warmer and a little more musical.

Usoum CE-2 para tocar Pink Floyd, acho ele incrivel, mas so para isso.
Eu toco de tudo com ele. Simplesmente deixa o som clean maravilhoso. Dá pra deixar discreto também.

+Eric sin sinner Amp spring reverb. In the little clean intro u can hear...
if you were to reamp the same part through an amp with spring reverb twice then pan each, would you get stereo spring reverb?
but if your using a real spring reverb, since it's mechanical theres no way that it would respond the same way twice
