Just came across your channel. I'm really excited to start up some snap dragons this year, it's so awesome to know they might come back. Thanks for sharing!

I am also in zone 6b and growing snapdragons from seeds so that video was definitely a great surprise ☺️

Hi, I left my snaps alone this fall, didn't even trim them down and I was shocked recently to see new growth on existing plants. I'm in zone 6b also, in northern NJ. I'm curious to know if they will do this every year. I've started some more indoors.

They look amazing! Isn't it neat learning new things about plants?!!

Wow, thank you for this advice. I will not pull them out. I live in southern UK, we have frosts, but rarely below zero C, so hopefully they will survive. They were so slow and difficult to propagate. Looking forward to overwinter them. However, looking at your flower bed, you do have polyethylene sheeting , and that itself may created protection.

I've done that once before in zone 6b. They were great the following year, but then I needed a fresh batch. They didn't last into a third year. This year, I live in zone 7a, and planted 2 months before my last frost. Those are naturally branching like crazy without pinching. They aren't as tall as fall planted ones would be, but they did really great in the cold weather. I'm going to overwinter this year, then do an early spring succession next year. I love snapdragons!

I love them too! Thanks for letting me know to plant a new batch for next year.

I wish I hadn't pulled out some of my snapdragons last fall. I'm in zone 7-8 so they maybe would have survival. Good to know. I won't be pulling them out anymore.

Im in Zone 6B also, I am going to do this this fall. I wanted to last fall, but I didn't get beds prepped in time, I had too much other stuff to do...
