We just had a major wind and rain storm (Maryland) and I came close to losing many of my sunflowers (branching; just cutting for myself) and in between storms luckily there was enough time to stake them. I had debated using netting but after the storm and you showing how easy it is to install, I think it's going to be high on my priority list for my patch of zinnias, cosmos, snap dragons and strawflowers. I didn't plant ANYTHING this year until my husband helped me out in my hortanova netting! Last year I got too busy and never got it on several beds and I regretted it very quickly!

Those cosmos look great! I direct sowed mine and they look a little leggy. Hope they turn out half as nice as yours!
