If you're ever tempted to sell these over the coming years, DONT. You'll regret it later on, and they'll be nearly impossible to procure again in 10-20 years
Disagree big time Rockafire can SOLELY thank FNAF as the reason its resurgence into popularity The Franchise was HUGE but slowly and surely its died out alongside the mascot horror and anamatronic gimmick I'd wait till the FNAF movie drops THEN SELL IT!!!! FNAF movie is THE Cash out on the franchise. ZERO games or content worth anyones time comes after this it faces the same fate call of duty does - Becoming a soulless cash grab

We still have a Showbiz Pizza, currently a furniture store but there used to be SBP signage in the parking lot until a couple of years ago. There's still the bones of old band setups (Tweetsie Railroad) here and there. R-A-F fans know the feeling.
I really enjoy storytelling like this! It’s cool to hear about the funtown mountain characters again. I remember seeing those on the Carpetbagger and your channel way back when. Which contributed to my interest in Aaron’s work!
Seeing your interview from Norm was actually my first introduction to the Rockafire Explosion and I was hooked straight away, playing five nights at freddy's and now seeing real life animatronic performers amazed my 12 yo brain and from then on I was constantly looking at old motors and electric robots to rip apart and reuse to make my own version of billy bob. Although I failed horribly it was extremely fun! I just wanted to let you know that if it wasn't for you I would never have found out about these guys as soon as I did, so thank you so much for your hard work!
Couldn't agree with your two videos more, Jack! Pretty much the same way I got hooked on the Rock-afire, albeit a bit later than I wanted lol. Wish I got into it around the time you did, because there's so much cool stuff I missed. But better late than never! The band is such a charm and it's so cool to see these guys get restored by someone with such a passion for it. Keep up the great work, and thanks for your help on everything thus far!
Was interesting to watch this unfold over the years. I remember in the interview you were originally intending to re-skin Mitzi into your own character.
seeing you at Maker Faire in 2017 & 2019 is what got me into animatronics! I remember anytime I had a free moment I found myself drifting back to the exhibit just to watch them in awe. it was the first time i'd seen any that close
Its nice that youve got this show coming together since Aarons show unfortunately isn't around anymore. It's cool that you got to see Aaron twice there before he had to move. Went there myself in late 2021 and was one of the final tours through. Also didn't realize you were the kid on Tested. That's so awesome. Also neat that you met idubbbz.
Really cool to hear how you started and improved over the years! ive been getting into animatronics for a while now and hopefully i can find or build a PTT cyber in the future
Eu sempre quis trabalhar com animatrônicos, me apaixonei por eles desde que comecei a ver como os usavam em filmes de terror antigos, principalmente no Enigma de Outro Mundo e Child's Play. 3:37 man out of all the damn things you can use reaper for i never expected this lmao also dude the photos that have animatronics in the background in the dark... i would shit myself if i saw that in person lmao
dude this is so cool, i've recently got interested in making animatronics but i really have no idea where to start, i know absolutely NOTHING about robotics, engineering or anything so idrk what to do maybe i should just yolo it?
Hey do you have any tips about where to find rockafire animatronics I’ve been trying to get my hands on one of them for abt a week and I haven’t been able to find many of them
I really wish I could buy one of those things. It’s just that they’re so expensive once on I actually found a beach bear animatronic for sale on eBay, which someone already bought it now. but it was really expensive. Also, if I did find any of these characters, I would probably retrofit them with the characters I’m trying to make because it would be cool.
I was wondering what ever happened to Billy Bob after seeing him iin urban explorer videos. I also seen the tested videos, as well as the fair stuff. I felt like that Leonardo DiCaprio meme where he whistle and points at the tv lol
Now i know how billy bob's left hand moves left to right even when there is no cylinders in the arm its just the hand attached to a cylinder on the guitar and the arm is a floppy arm filled with cotton/fur thats how and also its the cool part that the head uses one cylinder to tilt right to left it should be the same with every animatronic
Hey jack, i dont know if you will reply but if you can. Can you measure how long the aluminium bars for mitzis legs are and how long the two body bars are?

what location?
I was honestly really shocked when i seen how young you were, even with the help of your dad being able to manage a whole ass animatronic is crazy

yo I didn't know you watched his channel too
Bro has the biggest bravery for having that in the house
Bro plays FNAF 4 irl
I would be so incredibly happy to have the opportunity of owning one of these.
…I’ve followed Rockafire stuff for like 7 years now, and had no idea you were the guy on Tested until right now… crazy stuff dude.

The Maker fair video with your Mitzi and Billy Bob was one of the things that got me into the Rock Afire Explosion.
Same here!

Fantastic story. Appreciate your passion!
An absolutely incredible story, amazing work

Wow cool story! Great job! Amazing!
Its crazy to see inspired people got so excited to learn engineering to build an animatronic, keep up

ooooh... THOSE ANIMATRONICS ARE CUTE!!! Though I hope you can take care of all of them, because they're all so precious...

That TOPO robot also appeared in a number of music videos and TV shows throughout the 1980s which was especially true for the show Discoring! :)
Love the video! Glad the rock afire is finished! I also have some rock afire stuff on my channel
I always wondered what happened to the Funtown characters. Theyre the only reason I ever knew these existed
the random idubbbz jumpscare made me laugh so hard

Já jogou fnaf? Kkkkk vim por causa desses jogos, e é realmente incrível ver animatronics reais, ainda mais se ainda estiverem funcionando.

This is dope but as much as I love animatronics, I don't think I could keep them at home 😂
5:10 i've seen that interview long ago and i never knew that was you until now
I would love to see 16 tons on your completed stage!
i remember you. nice seeing you again
the first animatronic is so lovely
I was NOT expecting to see idubbbz here lmao
Shoutout to your dad for being so supportive!
great video
the animatronic characters do get a bit quirky at night.
you are so young and talented!

Lucky I also love animatronic but do you have a loony bird?? Also the moon and the sun animatronic

I JUST realized *TODAY* that the FNaF 1 animatronic is inspired by the Chuck-E-Cheese’s animatronic
Are you willing to make a tutorial on how to make the arduino based animatronic controller?
I remember seeing the tested episode on CZcams after knowing the rockafire and everything and that's how I found you I think.
I wish to have one of the Rock-afire Explosion characters one day...
Hey do you have any tips about where to find rockafire animatronics I’ve been trying to get my hands on one of them for abt a week and I haven’t been able to find many of them

Yes part 2
How exactly were you able to program Mitzi?
He came back
I was wondering what ever happened to Billy Bob after seeing him iin urban explorer videos. I also seen the tested videos, as well as the fair stuff. I felt like that Leonardo DiCaprio meme where he whistle and points at the tv lol
what was the name of the tested video?
You know, I feel just a bit like uncomfortable if I was near one of those things
How are you getting animatronics I've literally been on every website for one
fnaf made me figure out I had a very intense interest in electronics
Now i know how billy bob's left hand moves left to right even when there is no cylinders in the arm its just the hand attached to a cylinder on the guitar and the arm is a floppy arm filled with cotton/fur thats how and also its the cool part that the head uses one cylinder to tilt right to left it should be the same with every animatronic
I LOVE THIS VIDEO (PLEASE DONT SEND THE ANIMATRONICS TO MY HOUSE)
fnaf basically revived these old things for a young audience.
for the rest of the characters you could hunt down some abandoned chuckie cheese animatronics since they used the same animatronic skeleton
Bruh the animatronic from behind scared the crap out of me 2:54
Yay
How hard would it be to make one from scratch
