Hi please could you help, my 9-5 salloon 40,000 miles 2005 uk,, has the dreaded key problems But not like normall so 3 saab forums say ? Main issue is it wont lock most of the time either key, i found 3 ways were i can reconect the keys to the car without tech2 but i can only seem to get the car to go into program mode but not save mode if you get me. Ie it resyncs them and the key will lock fine. The ignition is not sticking to my full knowledge because inside lighs go off and radio will turn off, i still get sound from the alarm if i get the chance to lock and set alarm. Door switches are working fine, cleaned lock ignition and keys inside good contacts, battery clipps. One thing i do think is strange is that the car can still lock even know one of the doors are not closed? But i thought they shouldent of ? Please any support or advice would be amazing as i am toatly stuck on this, this is my last chance i have. Thank you p.s love all your work keep em comeing.

Un- Known , I wish I could help but I’m not exactly sure what’s going on. What I do know is that if you have two sets of keys and you’re using them interchangeably and they’re near each other that will cause the locks to malfunction. Only use one set, and keep the other in a dresser draw or something. Lock the doors, disconnect negative battery cable overnight and connect in the morning. Try the one key fob. Let me know how it goes

Hi James, it's some type of blanket air hose. Nothing to be concerned about. It's supposed to be a loner (unattached).

@@QSReigns Hi y'all, greetings from London U.K. ... all cars with Air con will have that rubber Pipe to no where, it is actually an out flow for condensation that builds up in the system when you first start the car. Ever notice the drips of water as you reverse drive away after starting the engine, yep just plan H2O from that pipe. Stay Safe.

Hi QS I came across your videos pretty great I got a 07 Saab 95 myself, just noting the your coolant reservoir got little too much unless in will circulate to the proper level between the low and high readings on the reservoir.

JAYUNUWA Findlater, you are right, too much coolant and thanks for the observation. I had just emptied and refilled the coolant and changed out the reservoir. I siphoned out the coolant when I finished the job I was working on.

Do you not have too much coolant in? Or is there a sneaky reason for it being high ?

Good observation and question, at that point it was way too high. I had just emptied & refilled the ac system, and added too much. I siphoned out the extra coolant

Please, only fill coolant to the fill line
