Yup.
Darkest dungeon missions will kill one random hero if you retreat, because they’re not stressful enough.

@@culfre well damn. I don't think I ever got to vet on any area. That is just crazy to lose a champion after all that work just because you had to retreat.
Yeah, DD requires a great deal of patience.
All the Darkest Dungeon (the actual dungeon) designs are so, so horrible in the best possible way and the way they get progressively grotesque the deeper you go is perfect.

BAER! Not to backseat, but: it's so wild to me that you keep taking people who haven't cleared a DD mission to all these filler/prep weeks. It really really risks one or more essential people dying and not you not being able to get a replacement in time and basically lower the odds of campaign success.
Still loving the wild plays though, the streamer luck is real, lol
