Correct, it will work with any siren. Just hook to an output and program it to the siren functions you choose.

same in my area (CT) they use when epsilon 295HFSC9 dual tone sirens, and also Whelen epsilon 2B5HFZC9 dual tone sirens in fire and ems vehicles

Better to have one 200-Watt siren than two 100-Watt sirensounding simultaneously.
Better if the Federal Signal Q2 sirehad half the portso that it would sound an octave lower.
Lower frequencies travel farther and penetrate vehicles better.
In crawling traffic on Interstates and highways, we sound the more pleasant and musical Hi-Lo as we proceed between lanes 1 and 2.
