Happy to see you putting this kind of material out since I am working towards my A+ right now and am learning the basics. I can't believe I skipped the basics and went and got myself the CCENT and Security+ first, a lot of this foundational knowledge is essential and just as cool as the networking and security stuff. Thanks for the vid! Look forward to watching it.

I started out building my PC before I started to get serious about studying for my A+ exam. I researched every component before purchase and it has helped me understand more about the material I am studying currently. I have a tab open to purchase my voucher for the 220-1001 but that self doubt kind of clouded my decision. Making me feel like I'm not quite ready even though I have been studying for a couple months and watching every possible video from Professor Messer and everything from Mike Myers. But the more I watch other people's documented experience with the A+ I feel more motivated to just do it. Thanks for the video.

Awesome video, I passed ITIL recently and am about to tackle A+. The goal is a CCNA and Network Engineer. I love working on Mikrotik, ubiquiti and Cisco gear. How tough was it to get a network engineer job after you got your CCNA? Was any other cert(s) critical to getting the job?

I haven't seen someone install an OS from a disk 6 years. That's impressive that you still used one haha.

Do you work on Juniper equipment? Or strictly Cisco?

DOD mainly use Cisco equipment. However I will likely study some juniper soon. To bridge all gaps

@@TheBuffNerd7539 Nice, I'm still working on my A+, and don't know hardly anything about Lvl 3 switches, but my boss gave me a Juniper EX2200-C to take home and figure out how to reset and login to lol

Maybe you can lower the background music when you're speaking. it really overwhelmes your voice and doesnt make this a pleasurable video to watch..
