It's not always about the placement, ports and flow are more important. Those cheap ebay kits have quite low exhaust & transfer port timings that tend to make the cylinder have more tame power range and less high end power.

hello friend do u need to rebuild motor often or no?

    • @-JX-
      @-JX-  Před 3 lety +1

Nope if everything is correctly done. I had some issues on the beginning of the build with the crankcases because the crankshaft bearings were not fully tight on the worn out housing and that caused the piston to slowly hit the head and the piston ring got stuck few times without damage. But after sleeving the housings and re-gapping the piston ring groove(to get the ring unstuck), I drove it with 0 issues for 2000km until I sold it the next owner and he drove 5000km+ easily with the setup.

    • @-JX-

@@lunatikas140 Remember, more power = more maintenance. If you have knowledge how these engines work and what kind of service they require and how to keep them running then yes. I ran mine daily.
But if you don't know that much and just need a trouble free setup, get Airsal 80cc (the normal one with 2 piston rings). That thing will be bulletproof with proper crankshaft and good oil and proper carb settings.

Show your tune. The power range is very limited at these type of engines and it will bog on certain throttle positions if you make it leaner at middle. As you can hear, it screams fine when used in the power range the engine was designed for. My 80cc set had a lot more lower torque and it was a lot more streetable due to the characteristics of it's ports. It did not sound raspy like this does at down low/mid.
