Our documentary series 'Strong Is...' returns with the powerful and emotional story of Atlético de Madrid midfielder and Spain internationalist, Virginia Torrecilla.
After battling through a cancer diagnosis in 2020, the 27-year-old then faced another unimaginable challenge after being involved in a car accident which subsequently left her mother paralyzed from the waist down.
But football can be a source of strength, even in your darkest moments. And the legendary comeback that followed was something she never thought possible. This is Virginia's story.
