In this final episode, Beth and Viv both make their long-awaited return to first-team football, but the journey isn’t over as they vow to continue to highlight, and ultimately change the narrative surrounding ACL injuries in the women’s game.
A trip to Arsenal’s academy also highlights their commitment to teaching the younger generation how to better prevent possible injury.

Interesting to see how upset the Arsenal players were over a United player getting injured. You can sometimes forget as fans that these players in rival teams are part of the same community, they can compete hard on the pitch but still be friends and care for each other off it.
As Viv said, you want to compete with the very best players out there. They're colleagues, no one would want that to happen to them.
I really appreciated the arsenal girls for doing this. 3 utd girls have got acls this season and we didn't get the same amount of media attention for clear reasons as arsenal girls especially lionesses have a lot more media attention so i really appreciate them giving us this as ppl might think cos arsenal haven't had anymore recently, no clubs are. people advocate for acl awareness but are only aware when their team have acls.

I witnessed both injuries and it broke my heart to see you in pan. And now, my heart has fully melted seeing you both back on the pitch and happy again. As a 57 year old man, I’m proud to follow two magnificent professional footballers who are the best ambassadors their sport could have.
No matter how many times I see the returns, it still gives me chills. Big ❤ to both Viv and Beth for sharing their journeys.❤

I finished all 5 episodes in 3 days. This is more than just a sports documentary. This should serve as an educational reference for the sports medicine world, especially as a medium for future women's sports development. I hope that girls playing soccer at the youth level can play soccer more safely while minimizing the likelihood of major injuries like ACL Mead and Miedema have gone through. I would give full credit to Mead, Miedema, Dr. Gary Lewin, Arsenal staffs, and external experts for taking part in this documentary series.
Thank you so so much for producing this documentary. I’m day 3 post ACL/meniscus surgery and cannot explain how much watching this has helped me. Despite the pain I know I’ll be able to get through now. Keep doing what you’re doing🤍

A really well put together documentary. Really does help that Beth and Viv are quite similar but also quite different in their outlook. Beth always comes across as relentlessly positive and optimistic, Viv a bit more cautious. Nice to see both perspectives on it.
Proud of my club for constantly trying to be at the forefront of womens football. Makes me genuinely proud to be an Arsenal fan in a time where connections to mens football and PL clubs feels harder to come by.

I want to emphasize that this documentary has to broadcasted all over the world. These sort of injuries should happen less, and I think the UEFA and FIFA have a large responsibility in it. Football is a great sport to watch but they have to reduce the amount of fixtures. I know Football is a commercial sport, but that doesn't have to cause players severe injuries like ACL and so on. With love from the Netherlands, and a huge fan of woman's football.....

Still confused why Viv came back so early she was a month behind Beth. But both returned within a week of each other❓❓
every recovery is different and Beth missed out on group training and game time due to summer break
