Marie Callender's is worth a review. The pot pies are great. Chicken Corn Chowder Pot Pie is #1 best, but I do enjoy the beef pot pies as well as the Sausage cream gravy pies for breakfast with scrambled eggs on the side. Maybe you could just have frozen pot pies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! For our entertainment! Mixed berry is the best Dessert pie IMO
When I eat this same meal I add a lot more salt and four or five pats of butter to the mashed potatoes. As long as your blood pressure stays normal it's fine. It's only the recommended amount some people can eat a lot more. Plus you can have a banana and a bagel for breakfast one of the chicken ones for lunch and one for dinner and still not be over your recommended sodium intake by much at all. So it's really not that much if you think about it.
The turkey dinner is arguably my favorite Hungry Man. I feel like Hungry Man used to be better, I'm talking at least 10 years ago. The quality isn't the same.
I am 9 months late to this, but yes, it was significantly better around 10 years ago. As a kid I used to eat Hungry Man dinners once in a while, and compared to now, they were basically a gourmet meal. Really sad tbh, but I suppose this is kind of how it went for all TV dinners.

I love it when the mush sound effects are added to the foods that are supposed to be crunchy, and the crunchy sound effects are added to the foods that are supposed to be soft.
There are literally no rules for food photography, as long as it makes the end product look good. They'll use cold mashed potatoes in place of vanilla ice-cream, use glue in place of mozarella for those "stretchy cheese" pizza shots, and all sorts of other tricks.
Or shaving cream instead of actual cream. It can look roughly the same, but is much better for photography because it's firm and doesn't melt from heat nearly as quickly.
"Milk" in food photography is usually glue so I doubt there's really any rules to what you can do, but if you slap a picture of a burger on a salad you'd likely not sell much
These videos have (somehow) been keeping me sane through the last few years. Something about the dry humor, Eric-Andre-esque editing and cheap, mediocre food that I'd inhale without a second thought just hits my brain right.

As someone who was not raised on microwavable food outside of Bob Evans Mac/Potatoes, the concept of TV Dinners is infinitely interesting to me, and I can't wait to get a job so I can buy the most interesting/good looking frozen meals. Because that seems like an efficient use of money.

As someone who was not raised on microwavable food outside of Bob Evans Mac/Potatoes, the concept of TV Dinners is infinitely interesting to me, and I can't wait to get a job so I can buy the most interesting/good looking frozen meals. Because that seems like an efficient use of money.

Every time I go to the grocery store and see frozen meals. I say out loud, oh this is the one Ian reviewed. I like eating along with these videos.
