- Join me as I reveal some of Kenny's Knife Collection over lunch, including the coveted Benchmade Claymore! I also show a Custom Made Case XX Trapper! I also take you along on my hunt for unique knives at a local pawn shop. Don't miss out on this knife lover's video!
Join me on a little road trip as I meet up with my friends to have a heartfelt discussion about knives. During our time together, I had a special gift to give to my friend Wade - a US Navy challenge coin and a US Navy Patch from the USS Tautog SSN-639 Submarine. The moment was incredibly touching as Wade became emotional and choked up from the experience.

In addition to our emotional exchange, I also took a trip to a Pawn Shop to hunt for some unique knives. But the excitement didn't stop there! I also had the pleasure of opening a package from Deep South Cutlery and Outdoors, where I unveiled a Specialty Knife that was made just for me.
Don't miss out on this emotional gift exchange and specialty knife unboxing - it's a video you won't want to miss!

It was nice listening to Wade talk about his time in the Navy. My Dad was in the Navy in WWII and he had some stories. 🙂

Thank you!!
If you know, You know.... You can't understand it unless you've been there! I'm not a Veteran of the Military. But, I'm Proud to know and met some very special people. That were, are, and will always be remembered for their heroics and unselfish service! Thank God for people that are driven to protect our Great Country!😊❤👍🏻🙏🏼
Thanks Jerry!!
I love my Benchmades. I have a Flyway and a Claymore amongst several others. My wife has several also including a Mini Freak. Those Benchmade autos sure do open with authority.
Thank you gentlemen for your Service !!
Thank you!!
God Bless! Thank you guys! Love to see true American vets!
Thank you!! God Bless!
Love watching your channel grow watch everyday
Thank you!!
Amazing gesture Kevin
Thank you!!
The maroon 112 is a Buck 112 Ecolite. The handles are paperstone and they were made in the 2010-2012 time period. Don’t know why they were discontinued. Enjoy your videos.
Thank you for sharing this!!
Following you I found a 110 ecolite at a pawn shop. I have many 110s , my favorite is the first one bought in in 1975.
Thank you both for your service! Wade seems like he would be very interesting and fun to hang out with. Very touching to see your appreciation for one another.
He’s load of fun!! Thank you and thanks for watching!!
Man them Benchmade and microtech is good stuff. I have always wanted a Benchmade but there to expensive for me. Have they got a way to buy from ? I would like to get one from your buddy it would be extra special for my little guy. Remember we was talking about getting something special for Sam. I think we just found it. To buy something you two good men have had would mean as much to me as it would Sam. Hard to find men such as you all.
You all are so lucky with your friends to handle them cool knives , excellent video keep on --keep on
Thank you!!
I knew Wade was “Bubble-head”! (Aka submariner!) My fellow navy vets who were submariners are a special breed brother! It takes a unique person to ride a submarine!
Awesome!! Thank you!!
Great Friends and Family are what makes the man the happiest !❤😊
True!! Thanks Jerry!

Nice road trip for the video, Kevin. Good to see you hanging with your buds, and That was a beautiful personalized knife Deep South Cutlery sent to you. I just picked up the same knife as that first Old Timer they sent and will clean it up good.

That case knife wow, what a beautiful gift, I started following them.
Thank you!!
That was such a nice gesture to your friend Wade it's amazing the camaraderie of fellow veterans. Also Deep South Cutlery people are good people😅
Thank you!!
Welcome you too
Wade has some great stories, man! I loved that. Thanks for just letting him talk. Amazing!
He’s awesome!! Thanks for watching!
Kevin Thanks for sharing your friends with us. I enjoy seeing all of the Benchmade knives. They get so much hate on the internet. Benchmade employs a lot of Oregonians, some my neighbors,at good family wages. I always remember that when I buy one. Thank you both for your service.
Thank you!!
The handles of the Buck 112 knife are called Micarta handles. Micarta is a composite material that is sealed within thermosetting plastic. The first version of the Buck 112 Ranger had a black Micarta handle and brass bolsters.
Thanks for sharing this!!
Thank you Submariner Wade for your service.
I've met a few "Bubbleheads", they're a different breed.
Thanks Doctor
Awesome!! Thanks for watching!!
Thanks Wayne for your service, you scored big again from deep south. I hope I can get tuned in for the auction tonight. Be safe and GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸 🙏

Boy watching you fellas brought tears. Great video. God bless you
Thank you!! Yeah…we getting soft in our old age. LOL. Thanks for watching!!
I would love to talk to Wade! After 30 years on CG cutters I could swap stories with him. Mine sweepers have 3 green lights on the mast. When we were in Iraq the mine sweeper was behind us…not a good feeling 😅

I didn’t expect that Claymore to kick that hard!! It jumped right out of my hand! Strongest Spring I’ve ever seen on an automatic! Plus I was holding it with my left hand with a cut finger that’s healing. Thanks for watching!!

Well Kevin, thank you all for your sacrifice and your service!! I am on the hunt now for a USA made small stockman knife with any colored red /blue or green bone handle. I want it to carry everyday so not a safe queen😂…Any recommendations would be appreciated, I know case are very nice but I’m looking for something previously loved by someone.
Good Morning To All
Good Morning!!
Great video. Great knives. Great fellowship. Couldn’t get much better than that. I know China made is not your cup of tea but you might check out the ones Spyderco makes. Their heat treatment is second to none and makes them good to go. As others have said.. your channel has become my favorite. Look forward to seeing your videos.
From one vet to another…thank you for you alls service. God Bless.

Yet again, another wonderful episode. Really enjoyed the knife get together with your friends. Seem like very solid folk.

Cheers, doc! Until tomorrow! 🍻
Thank you!! That is a Buck Slim Pro. G10 Handles, Pocket Clip and S30V Steel. Awesome knife!!
@@theknifedoctor it’s a great looking knife, how much was it from buck? This was one of the knives you bought from them directly, correct?
@@brandonwhite1869 yes!! Great knife too!
Love the knives, but really like the Bigfoots!!
Me too!! LOL! Thanks for watching!!
Right hand deployment doc...😇
Yes!!! I was holding the camera though…LOL
Good video! I held one of those Benchmade Claymores at the Balde show in Atlanta. The handle is real light so the blade flipping out is a little difficult to control. I didn't like it. I got my custom Spitfire in. OD green handle and black blade. I got my custom Buck 112 also, oak handles, nickel bolsters and finger grooves.
That’s Awesome!! Send some pics via email please!! knifeproxx@gmail.com

Watching this makes me want to buy a Case knife from Deep South Cutlery.
You should!! Great folks. I just bought a Zippo and a Sasquatch figurine from them!!
@@theknifedoctor How do you go about it? I would like to purchase that Case with the bears on it. I tried going to the web address on that sticker but nothing came up.
They’re real good about messages on facebook! Tell them that you saw it here on my CZcams channel and you’ve subbed to them. They’ll hook you up!
The website is under construction. They take PayPal and venmo
Buck was messing around with a paper micarta or something if I remember.
Thank you!!
Morning doc, i think the handles on the 112 were called paperstone or something like that, supposed to have been made from recycled paper i think
Thanks for sharing this!!
I only close a knife that someone else has opened if I have to. They usually look at me funny when I say, you opened it, you close it. If someone hands me a knife & say you keep it, I give them a penny. Have a great day
Thank you!! Thanks for sharing this!!
The Benchmade Claymore has markings on the handle that look like Morse Code, F T E. If it is, What does it mean? Love the videos and all the sweet knives. Y'all take care.
I’m not sure! I’ll ask them!
@@theknifedoctor I did a little digging and found that it is Morse Code, F T E. According to some knife forums it stands for "Front Toward Enemy". Just like on the real M18A1 anti personnel mine.
That buck 112 is a plum eco wood you get them in green as well they also had the 110 models I am still looking for the 112 plum to complete my collection I have the 110 in green and plum and the 112 in green just need the 112 in plum colour
Thank you for sharing this!!
Hi Carl we have the same first name, are you in the UK or USA?, I only ask as I am aware of a plum version 112 for sale here in the UK on a website selling used knives. It has the original box and pouch.
Knife doctor almost slits wrist opening knife at a restaurant.
That claymore is powerful!!
That is one thing the china made knives are good for. Springs, toothpicks and such.
I got my grandfathers pocket knife after he passed. It an old browning made in Japan and it’s in super rough shape and missing some pieces. Would you repair it for me if I sent it to you?
No, I’m sorry. I don’t repair knives for other people. Repairs don’t always go as planned. I don’t want to permanently damage a sentimental knife. I hope you understand. Thanks for reaching out!!
@@theknifedoctorsure I totally get that. Just thought I would ask. 👍thank for replying. love your channel. I’ve been checking out all my old knives and found some cool ones I have kinda discarded.
Kevin, I have four new scissors with springs that look like they will fit that Kershaw. Could you give me your address and I will send them to you?
Thank you!!

Not really real Pearl grips are actually a abalone shell
It’s mother of pearl.
@@theknifedoctoractually Mother of pearl comes from shells it’s not really a pearl it is made from certain shells of large mollusks it is a hard substance harvested from large shells but not all mollusks have it large oyster shells is a common shell it is harvested from but it is not an actual pearl
