In Texas, TSA sends all confiscated items to a warehouse in Austin where they sort through everything. People actually look up knives to assign value. Then they hold a public auction. They do have lots of name brand knives up for sale as well as junk knives. You can only get the good knives at the auctions. They sometimes come in bundles with junk knives. People keep the good ones and resell them individually and screw you with these leftover junk knives.
