Bursting with vibrancy, the LG G3 OLED is a visual feast, transforming pixels into an immersive canvas of deep blacks and brilliant hues. It's a gateway into a world of spectacular detail, making every frame feel like a masterstroke.
On the other side, Samsung's S95C is a marvel of QLED technology. It paints a compelling picture with luminous colors and extraordinary contrast, offering a riveting spectacle whether you're in the throes of an epic film or a fast-paced video game.
In essence, the LG G3 OLED and Samsung S95C are both masters of their craft, each offering a unique visual symphony. The decision boils down to whether you want to lose yourself in the abyss of OLED's deep blacks or be dazzled by QLED's radiant brightness.

You really can’t go wrong with whichever you go with, the picture quality is so good at this point that it literally just comes down to preference and whether you’re looking to mount or not.
Actually, your results were neck and neck close
How was that "NOT EVEN FAIR."?
How a channel with random info and using an ai text reader for the voice amounts 15k followers is beyond me.
These TVs have slim basils

Is it all over for mini led now? How bout the qn95c?
I have a Sony QD OLED A95L & a LG G3 I find the G3 in their Personal/ Custom mode to be more natural?.
I went the S95C route. Wall-mounting not an option where I living right now, and it was literally $600 less where I found it. Otherwise, both TVs are insanely good.
does the S95C dim the image after a few minutes watching? Thank you
I want to go with the S95C but the LG G3’s 5 year warranty is very appealing
@@ricardoclemente3255Not that I've noticed. I set the color temp to warm and make a few other tweaks, brightness isn't cranked to max or anything. Picture is bright and vibrant to my eye.
@@sammiemakki9339 samsung is better and more afffordable also paring for colour work with g9 oled 32:9 monitor. qd oled is better technoilogy than mwoled that the c3 42 uses that u would use your g3 for colour work, also less reflective on samsung and better colours, more vibrent colours. i love samsung and is in the same exact price as c3 , g3 is 1.7 times more expensive here than c3 or s95c. s95c all day everyday. also 144hz and split screen better implementation. my only question is google assistant on samsung? ...
no issues with dropouts while gaming?
LG G3 has low volume issue with Netflix playback if selected from WebOS 23. Any solutions?
Excellent reviews ❤❤❤
Both tvs are very good this year.
Thank you for a great video comparison. I've been doing a ton of research and probably going to go with the LG G3 probably later this year (to take advantage of when they do finally go on sale). One thing I've come across which seems odd, but maybe you have an answer to. It appears the LG G3 has the MLA technology up to the 77" but not the 83" . Do you know why they would do this? I'd like the bigger size, but not going to sacrifice this added tech for the price. Might as well go for the C3 and save myself a few $1000 in the process. I'd love to hear your thoughts or any of your subscribers on this. Thanks.
Same question… I wanted to go with the 83 inch. I didn’t know that it doesn’t have the MLA tech?!?!?!?
Yep...for some reason it's not with the 83 inch. Perhaps with next year's model? I always compare specs with every model and size. Thought it was a glitch at first on one website, but have confirmed on various sites now. @@sammiemakki9339
I take the S95C for the QD uniformity over the WOLED
I’m gonna go with the Sony A95L over the LG G3…QD-OLED over WOLED…LG’s OLEDS have horrible uniformity in my experience..and I’m pretty sure the G3 is no different
I have the LG 77 G3 and I must say that it’s an outstanding television. I actually had to turn down the brightness because that’s how bright it is.
As far as sound, I wouldn’t even think of using this TV to watch or listen to anything. It’s that bad I use a Sonos Soundsystem to complement this TV.
Keep in mind that Samsung is quite new to Oled. This is only the second generation after the first introduction 10 years ago whereas LG continued to make and improve there Oled panel for over 10 years.
I ended up buying the s95b and do love it but do prefer the Sony and LG picture signature. Panasonic i just admire from afar 😂
I’m a little late to this party, but the big takeaway seems to be that if you want jump off the page colour while sometimes needing to sacrifice detail and clarity, go S95C, and if you want a balanced experience that is still plenty bright and more natural looking, go G3. I’ve been torn between these two models for the last month, but am slowly leaning in LG’s direction, being both a movie person and casual gamer. Just seems like the safer choice 🤷🏻♂️😅
You nailed it, I had the Samsung S95C for about 2 months, and even though it was very colorful, it lacked in clarity and details. I finally decided to go with the G3 and couldn't be happier.
Whish someone buy me a 77 inch lg g3. Generosity will make your health and life happier. And I will def. Pau it foward.
Samsung bright accurate colors beats just boosting the overall brightness
But dolly vision doesn’t really give the g3 a advantage especially in content
It does. Almost every modern movie uses Dolby vision, even remasters use Dolby vision for older movies. It’s the most popular modern HDR format. It doesn’t look day and night better than standard HDR10 imo. Although that extra 20% image quality with DV makes it better. Sony is the way to go if you want the best out of movies.
duuuh it gives, Hollywood is dolby vision nowadays, unless you don't like movies.
Does not matter how good it is if you have to worry about burn-in. In an OLED review, limiting your TV watching to four or five hours was stated to prevent burn-in. MY LG OLED had burn-in in 13 months.
Ive clocked 17k hrs on a LG E8 with no burn in whatsoever screen is still perfect.
The burn in thing is over blown and not as common as it was 5 plus years ago. I have multiple oled TVs in my home and never had one issue. My living room TV which is the one that gets the most usage (6-8) hours a day and not one hiccup.
Yeah this was lame. Moving on to an actual comparison!
What you don’t like AI drones? 😂
LG G3 the best
I prefer the Samsung as I need a TV with a stand, don't want to pay extra for a stand.
QD oled is prone to burn in, I would not buy unless u only watch movies..
@@3107karanthey both are prone to burn in. Not just the qd oled 😂 LG oled sets have been getting burn in since the day they were released. And no, that rtings test does not mean anything. At all. The reality means something, and that reality is, that all oled sets are prone to burn in, and always have been. And if you think that rtings test is an accurate test across the board for every LG oled that will sell, you're beyond gullible, and clearly haven't had experience with oled sets.
@@3107karanif you watch only 2 movies in a day
@@hastensavoir7782 I don't think it's quite that bad, you have to have static content on screen for a very long time, and repeatedly.

Neither one of these models can reach 2000 nits. The G3 peaks at about 1500 and the S95C at about 1350-1400. Where do you get your information??
Actually a lot of them are reaching higher numbers Digital Trends reviews hits 1600nits. I messed with the service menu and I definitely hit 2,000nits in a 1% window 1600-1800 in smaller windows.
My problem is that the MLA equipped G3’s are too small for my situation. Heck, even the 83” is smaller than what I currently have.
The Samsung is out for me; too small and lacks Dolby Vision as always. Why can’t they just pay for the licensing fees?
Because Dolby vision is pointless and makes 0 difference. This has been proven by many TV guys on CZcams including stopthefomo.
Tu vie dans un Dépôt ???
Lg in my book. Samsung over saturated colors is a drawback.
The 83 inch LG G3 doesn't have MLA technology.
Experts say 77-inch OLED MLA TVs are not as bright as 65.55-inch ones.🇱🇷🇱🇹🙋🇨🇰🇬🇧
@@jonasnezinomas5781- Ok which experts? Can you provide evidence? Never heard that…
Why is that? That’s a bummer because I wanted the 83 inch
Regular people are like "LG vs. Samsung". For me it is "Panasonic vs Sony"...
But panasonic on USA😢 lol
Where is panasonic get the display from?
@@jackdolah2031 They are using the same MLA panel from LG as the G3 in 55 and 65 Inch for their flagship. So it is the same panels as the G3 and the S95C are using but used by different manufacturers. But Sony ist the only brand who buys panels from LG (A80L) and Samsung (A95L)...
Sony first, then LG, so Panasonic not even worth mentioning.... Just buy Sony a95L
G3 is garbage for gaming
For me the only question is : will the new Panasonic beat the S95C ?
If yes, then Panasonic will be king of 2023.
If not : Samsung S95C
Good point I think it is worth waiting for a little while to see what Panasonic have to offer
MZ2000 ftw 🙌
Panasonic ridiculous expensive
No 77" MLA though - I'm holding of another year - 83" QD OLED or MLA WLOED - or a great deal on a Panny 77" MLA with hopefully new SOC - all these TVS are great - if you got a A90J 83" a few years ago - it's still great
last years panasonic lz2004 beat sony A95k
LG ALL THE WAY
Exactly why? 🧠
LG makes the best OLEDS hands down it’s never been a question
I love your AI fake voice
Lg z3 destroy all

”Not even fair” implies a clear winner. Wasted 13 minutes to hear ”thats a draw”. Stupid.
LG vs. Samsung; The winner is still Sony.
I checked out g3 s95c and Sony a95l
In store demo modes I liked the Samsung
Using them live the Sony smacks both of there bottoms
Best picture i have witnessed up to this point
If you think Sony TVs are the winner you don’t know TVs. I love Sony but TVs aren’t their thing
Sony A95L will easily be THE KING!!!!!!
There’s still the MZ2000
Agree only Panasonic has a chance. The qdoled panels are better Gonna be close battle
@@craighopkins4496 if LG G3 goes neck to neck vs S95C, so will Panasonic MZ2000 against Sony A95L. And Philips has an MLA. OLED too.
@@hastensavoir7782 yea no question panasonic will be better then G3. They have better processor and 2nd gen heat sink. also hdtvtest shootout panasonic destroyed the G2
