This is actually really significant since it means it is theoretically possible for any base to rise from the ashes of griefing not just once, but as many times as the builders can ressurect it, and doing it in such a short span of time no less. Creation is just as strong as destruction.
Even more if you just change the location
I really love that mindset where the builders are willing to destroy what they created so that the griefers can't, I think it symbolizes how the builders won by not letting their builds get destroyed by anybody else, sort of a "If we can't have it, no one can" mindset but justifiable

@@MrEvanNoyes Not worth the trouble. Even if you get one of their bot accounts banned, they'll just make more. It doesn't even remove the message, it just "hides" it from the person who reported it in particular. Just ignore the troll, they'll eventually get bored.
@@jadekaiser7840 That’s a good point. I just figured if more people reported it’d be more likely to be found by CZcams. Although I guess they can make bot accounts faster than CZcams can ban them.
I was 100% ready for this to be a video like "2b2t isn't actually the oldest anarchy server in Minecraft!" but then it ended up just being wholesome base rebuilding, or at least wholesome by 2b2t standards

i think this video proves that the true motto of 2b2t is not 'nothing lasts forever', but 'in anarchy, anything is possible'
I give my gravest condolences to XCC2 and their loved ones for the landing accident. It is such a tragedy a beautiful 2b2t user was brutally killed in such an unexpected way. May this death serve as a warning to future Elytra users to be very careful when landing, for they may not want to repeat such a horrific historic event.
RIP XCC2 condolences to his family and his friends. He will be remembered as a 2b2t legend who changed the servers history.

This server is like the Yin and Yang. Griefers and Builders balancing each other out, while each containing a bit of the other within themselves.
There isn’t destruction without creation. Perfect. Everything balanced.

I love the notion that some curious folks came over to the newly-rebuilt base and instead of destroying it, added to it. The person who added the underground section did a good job, I liked the aesthetic they went with.
Conclusion: Anything is possible in the anarchy environment, even making a base rebuild 20% Cooler.

Prior to finding about 2b2t I never thought a Minecraft server could have such an intricate and in-depth lore. Servers like hypixel don't really have much room for growth and most multiplayer survival servers don't often keep such a thorough library of its history or fall into obscurity eventually. But 2b2t is an anomaly, showing what a dedicated player base could really accomplish.

possibly the most wholesome 2B2T video youve made to date. something so viscerally enjoyable about the way you all got to take a step back in time and experience what once was in its full glory. and then to take it upon yourselves to put it to rest once more. there will be actual legends of these moments for years to come. all because of a block game. god speed Fit.

this litteraly brought a tear to my eye that you were able to experience this. to all the builders THANK YOU builders give so much of themselves in things like this and your art is amazing. thank you fit for sharing this, I'm hoping that once the server does get an update that i 'will' survive in the flood of new players to the server.
this is srsly one of the best minecraft channels out there. Thanks Fit for taking a hellish place like 2b2t and finding the endearing and heartwarming aspects of the community. Amazing documentary work, this series is just so cool!!!

Best wishes! Remember to rely on your companions around you. I've heard that the various basic trainings and officer trainings are more doable as a team than trying it on your own.
They should've added a "Good-bye button." Once pressed, the whole base would've exploded. All of the TNT's are hidden and out of sight so the griefers get jump scared

You weren't wrong, if anything you were right, you said in one video it wasn't exactly an anarchy server, and the fact that there are parts of the community that can also rebuild is a testament to that.
with such dedicated builders, i feel like a really silly project idea would be rebuilding an iconic build in a ton of random locations
like imagine if twenty copies of some old long gone base just popped up over the course of a week in totally different locations

I really like your Minecraft videos Fit and this one really shows a lot of spirit. The server 2b2t seems as chaotic and unpredictable as the real world nowadays, but there's always kind souls among that chaos who help us. It would be awesome to play Minecraft with you
I find it awesome the protect was started on my birthday. It is honestly amazing what 2B2T builders can do, never ceases to amaze me.
The fact that this happened is crazy. Although I didn’t need you to tell me that the base was already leaked for me to know. The fact that this video exists is enough for me to catch on that something happened.
So basically, they didn't find some magical solution to prevent it from being griefed, they just used the "you can't fire me, I quit" approach.

While I only knew XCC2 in passing, I am deeply saddened for the loss of altitude he suffered. May he rest mostly in one piece.
Gonna throw in my old idea here again.
Programm one or two bots to rebuilt a tiny house at spawn for ever. And then watch how long it takes for the griefers to give up.
They need resources though plus they also need to move, so griefers will just trap them.

You were sort of right though, once a base gets griefed that means its coordinates have been leaked and even if you rebuild it, people will grief it again. It will never be safe again
The point was that it could be rebuilt completely, not protected against griefing

Yeah, but, let's be honest, that base is less than 5k from 0/0, reparing that wouldn't be a repair today, it would be suicide.

It's amazing how these skilled programmers made such a helpful script to rebuild stuff
I also helps that the seed for the server is known so it makes rebuilding the land easy
Seeing the builders destroying their own creation was big sad, but I'm sure they knew it would end up this way from the beginning.
Also you totally should've included a live reaction the first time you came into render distance of the rebuilt base!!! That would've been so cool.
This is one of my more favorite 2b2t videos. Griefing really sucks and it’s tragic to see amazing builds get destroyed. I’m glad to see ambitious players undo some of the damages.
So cool, must have been nostalgic to go back to the ruins and see it like it was 2016 all over again and you still were living in the base, it’s truly wild, especially for a building team to do that all just for you and your base mates. Wholesome for 2b2t lol.

Actually, 2b2t has a lot of bases out there and it's absolutely so interesting to see all of them still standing to this day and how creative they all are.
