  • A truly outstanding treasure offering 600 feet of climbing pleasure for thousands of visitors and locals every year, it is arguably Jamaica's most popular and famous attraction.
    This is a wonderful adventure including a walking tour inside the park.

    We had the most spectacular tour guide whose name was Melborne.. He was incredible and guided me by hand as I could not hear (had to take off my hearing aids and they put them in a surgical glove to keep dry and wrapped it around my bathing suit strap) So because I could not hear he held my hand for most of the way and I was so appreciating his care for my safety. My husband and I found this excursion most exhilarating and so rewarding too! Not liking the vendors on the way out when you've just experienced one of the most wonderful experiences of your life...I rated this excursion 9 out of 10 and if it wore not for the vendors begging you to buy something it would have been 10 out of 10...Thanks Melborne for all your help and I shall never forget you and your help to succeed this wonderful adventure in my life!

      Trish Rosolowich Happy that enjoyed the climb up the falls and the hospitality of the guide. It was kind of you to acknowledge this. On the matter of the craft vendors, we know that it can be a bit of a nuisance but if we just try to u derstand that most of them a only trying to earn an honest living and really mean no harm, it won't be so difficult.

    I did Dunns River Falls last month for my birthday. I found out i was pregnant like 2 days before my trip and Dunns River Fall and the party cruise was already booked! I am proud to say that i climbed the falls successfully. I wanted to share my thoughts on Dunns River Falls. In the beginning, i was afraid because the water was so forceful and the rocks were a little slippery and well of course i was prego lol Dunns river falls is a life lesson to me. You have these people in your group all holding hands helping one another up the rocks, throughout the falls, some of these people are already way ahead of you or way behind you because you have to keep climbing, if you fall they may laugh at you lol or help you up which in that event it was ok to fall because someone would help you but the tour guide is there to snap a picture of that fall lol! And in the end, there is a relief feeling when you see that sign that says congratulations, you have climbed the famous dunns river fall! 1,000 Feet up! It was a learning experience for me, also scary, fun, laughable experience. I am soo glad i did it, i wanted to do it again when i was finished !

    Oh my, yes! I went here with my family when I was about 9 or 10 years old! My sister and I made quick work of the climb, and we did not have hand rails to help us! We had a ton of fun! Thanks for the memories!

    A large group of my family and friends were in Jamaica from June 4-11, 2016, for my niece's wedding, and we had pre-booked a trip to Dunn's River Falls. I watched your video before we went, so that I would know what to expect, and I just watched it again. You mentioned in Part 1 that you really have to be there in person to truly enjoy the excitement of the Falls, and I totally agree with you. However I also believe that you have captured much of the same excitement with your video, as I was just as thrilled to watch it again, and I'm sure it won't be the last time that I do. You've done a wonderful job, and my thanks for sharing it with us.

      Have a blessed day!

    If you’re a “true” Bob Marley fan (who isn’t?), then you have to check out the Bob Marley Museum in 9 miles, St. Ann, Jamaica.It’s a hell of a ride through the hills, on some of the worst roads you’ll ever see. But once you get there, you’ll enjoy how crisp and fresh the air is.It’s also crazy to think that such a great man could come from such a remote, humble place.Please check out www.jaztrips.com/. It was created out of the love for Jamaica, and our intense desire to share that appreciation with as many people as possible. Our drivers can’t wait to share the sights and culture of Jamaica as they transport you to your next adventure, whether it’s visiting a hidden waterfall, one of the island’s breathtaking beaches, or the birthplace of our own Bob Marley.

      +BigPete222 Thanks to you for the comment and spending time to watch the video.
      I had the Galaxy S5 before and the video quality is as good as the Note 4. If you want to get smooth video using the S5 you will have to go to the settings and change it to smooth video. (It will record at 60fps) because the default setting is at 30fps.
      The video in the link below was recorded last year using my S5 (R.I.P) at 60p

      Thanks for the tip, although i didn't see the area in settings for 30fsp, what i see is 1920+1080/16:9 which it's set at.I have a dedicated video cam which i use to record with, but last year i was in Jamaica filming a wedding and i ran out of battery and used my Galaxy S5 to get a crucial shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it came out. I just watched the link you sent me! very impressive.Am now a subscriber to your channel Thanks again!

    • @walmos
      @walmos  Před 8 lety

      I am very happy to hear that you have subscribed to my channel and it is my desire to help you as much as possible. I no longer have the S5 because it died early this year buth I remember where to find that mode. Beside the place that you saw the video size (1920*1080) you will see another tab that says "Recording Mode" select it and you will see the smooth mode.
