*D. Burgg* - Reminds me of Canada's Canadair 215/415 "Super Scooper" aircraft, purpose-built for fighting wildfires. They are able to scoop up a swimming pool's worth of water in under 30 seconds, and deliver it right to the fire front. And they're a whole lot cleaner than "the Goose".
I'm a wanna-be canuck, for sure, Pluto. I visited the Canadalands a looooooong time ago. I spent 4 months with a backpack on my back... driving from coast to coast in an old Ford Escort. Canada Day was one of the best celebrations ever! Cherries, ice wine... I mean ice cream, parades and fireworks. Enjoy your day, sweet Pluto & mom.

Pluto is my “go to for a cheer up”. Do hope his Mom is good. We have a beloved niece who lives in New Zealand and we now in the family always refer to her as living in the Down Under, Down Under-lands. She recently visited and was delighted with Plutos take on where she lives..

Thank you for sharing that! My parents lived in Canada (Toronto) for 10 years, from 1957 to 1967. Only about 10 years ago did they finally get their US citizenship and then had dual citizenship. My brother has been there with my dad but I never got the chance. One of these days, hopefully. Happy Canadalands Day! 💕

Dear Pluto, we have Chinook winds down here in Colorado, too. And they DO warm up the landscape quickly. I remember back in High School in the early '70s, it was freezing and icy one morning, then the Chinook melted all that snow & ice by mid-afternoon! Amazing. PS - MMMMM! Timmy's!

My son-in-law manages the Toronto Blue Jays. So he’s going back to the Canadalands. My grandsons are really sad that they can’t be in Toronto this year. They love, love, love being in Canada and my oldest will miss the all Canada lacrosse games. He usually plays. Be safe Canada. Our family loves you.

Here in the Pennsylvanialands we have a lot of flying super poopers! My company pays a four-legged border Collie come daily to chase them away from our pond. They go to a pond on the property of a neighboring company...but the four legged also works for that company and herds the geese away from their pond....right back to our pond!!!!! You MUST go to Toronto and Ottawa! Fabulous places to visit. There’s a museum of native peoples in Ottawa that is stunning. I’m hoping to get to Quebec one day soon.
