Fun Fact: You should actually watch the video before commenting.
FOR THOSE ASKING ABOUT PR6 SHIPS:
- Kearsarge: Similar to Gascogne (i.e. acting like a robot) but not to the same extent, kinda like an AI. Around Cheshire's area.
- Shimanto: God complex. She literally believes herself to be the Dragon God. Around Hakuyruu's area.. Mostly harmless, though may get out of hand in extreme circumstances.
- Felix Schultz: Superiority complex, similar in vein to Agir. But, it's really just her wanting attention, and trying to get the Commander to fall for her. Around Agir's area.
- Hindenburg: Standoffish, literally acting as though she were a demon you summoned and made a contract with. Similar to AvP in the way she acts. Not really a danger, but could be. Around Plymouth's area.
- Flandre: Childlike in the sense of her always looking for the approval or confirmation of the Commander. Completely subordinate to the Commander. Possibly dangerous if Commander is lost. Around Anchorage's area.
My man you so good at this.
So according to the latest event, Anchorage had a data anomaly in her cube which made her act the way she did, which was fixed

Yes Already watched and my one only Favorites in this Video was Ruppercht-Chan hahaha
Every ship: Yeah, a bit off so central or left side
Roon: You see that? That's a Hospital, and you're never gonna get out of there
lets be honest here, u are lucky if u have enough of yourself left to even go to the hospital after fighting her lol

The event where they blew up Compiler's mainframe also has Friedrich der Grobe admitting it out loud that she schemes as easy as she breathes and that doting on other people is how she keeps a handle on that bad habit.
though she would never do that to the commander at all even if it would result in him getting killed. or at worse seriouslly injured.
Even if she is scary to be around Roon is a reliable weapon i can't imagine someone better to defend a base by only herself against hordes of Sirens, i bet if that was a scene in an animated series the battle would be impressive and fun to watch her go and do what she likes most
Doom but actually female
Yea, she is most fit to be sent as a spearhead into the middle of enemy formation and make a mess there, or stay behind to cover allies retreat. In fact, she had done the later in story missions, in which she actually acts quite "sane", well, reasonably so, most of the time.
@@raizors1331 Indeed. She is best leading a prisoner battalion right into the heart of enemy defenses.
@@davidford3115 heh
Roon, the Azur Lane equivalent of an Eversor Assassin
August isn't actually dominating.. her skin oath line directly stats that she is submissive, and was using her "dominating" attitude to make the commander show the back to her. Challenging him, in a way, to subdue her
So A power-bottom?
That's hot
She is submisive af but not at a insane level
Thank you for giving me a new marriage goal.
Just gotta point out "a Special Ops unit where her love of murder is useful," is kind of Azur Lane in a nutshell.
I'd say the funniest part of this is how FDG probably sees others are children due to her sort of planning their lives and the overall defense of humanity, seeing it her duty to save her "Children" and allowing them to grow and become independent. May not be the best for a normal military unit, but when you're against someone trying to control and coerce your "children", you could not ask for a better leader against the sirens. As they say, hell hath no fury like a mother scorned.
Basically, she is like Boudica or Tamar of Georgia, but for the Ironblood Faction. Warrior Queens are a force to be reckoned with.
and then there is the commander though... or in this case us personified. I would worry for her if the man ages and dies etc.
I have a theory about FdG, she (along with the other prs, except for brest, haku, champange and gasconge) was once human and she was the previous (ib) commander's wife and second in command and the current commander's mother. Her husband died in an accident during excersise when she was pregnant, therefore she was made the commander of ib. After the current ib skk grew up she was made a kansen (as well as remarrying to Graf Zeppelin) and the phantom leader of ib. This is just headcannon btw
I also think FDG sees others as her "children" due to her actual size. This is a ship that was almost made (not officially named or done but the plans were there, Germany suffered from lack of steal towards the end of the war and the ship could not be finnished) and when completed would have dwarfed even the Yamato class of Battleship. In other words FDG would be not only the biggest Battleship ever but also one of the largest ships in general maybe contributing to her feeling a need to "protect the children" around her.
Gascogne is a unique case. She is either
1. A shipgirl that have a rigid robot-like way of thinking
2. An incomplete shipgirl that is missing her emotion module. I more leaning toward this one as her oath line is about something like installing an emotion module on her. And Anchorage story also make me more certain as a PR ship born with a "defective" part is possible. As Anchorage childlike behaviour is caused by some kind of interference that messed up her way of thinking. Following this logic, Gascogne jusy being a defective shipgirl without emotion module installed on her is more make sense. So instead of a mental illness, she is just a literal mindless robot before we oath her. Her brain is just consist of logical thinking just like an AI. Her emotion folder in her brain is basically empty and everytime we introduce her to a new emotion, a new file is added into it but it's still not properly accessible before the emotion module get installed (which why she is confused by the new feeling that she gets).
Don't forget, august is only trying to be a dom so youll retaliate and dom her lmfao
power bottom moment lol
so August is a dom...that wants to be dominated.....ok...that is making my head hurt trying to understand that.
The recent U.S. event (parallel superimposition) and it’s run up mini quest (for an item to give to Anchorage) tells us Anchorage is mentally a child do to a large amount of abnormalities in her hull data (which we ultimately seemed to have fixed by events end)
Kinda makes sense as the CA-B design is very different compared to how Anchorage looks like in WOWS
Also dont forget that Anchorage in part due to those abnormalities knows who the commander actually is/was. At this point I think the commander (us) is a fixed singularity within the timestream.
@@grygaming5519 aka code G
I always interpreted Ibuki’s social anxiety as being partly due to the fact that she was never finished, so she lacks confidence in herself, and in general is adjusting to the idea she can be more than just a weapon of war.
Her affection lines and skins do show that she’s come to enjoy her life at port with everyone though, for example mentioning Seattle inviting her to a party in her party dress skin
With Monarch, the worst part is that thanks to hindsight, Monarch's design is what really the British Royal Navy should have gone with the King George V Class Battleship as you can upgrade the QE, Renowns and Hood with Monarch's 15"/45-calibre gund
Not really, the mounts are different sizes. Also they were too far into production unlike the North carolinas to change their main armourment because it takes years to make the guns
@@HMSVanguard46 I think you are confused, the turrets would have been refurbished as part of modernisation, I was talking about replacing the 15"/42 guns with the 15"/45 guns
I think Roon exemplifies her design in her personality. She's a scorpion, and her rigging makes it easier to see. The head being the tail and the shields being her claws. And no matter how sweet she might be, she's still a weapon and killing is why she was made. She can't help it, it's in her nature.
The main issue with the idea that Gascogne is schizophrenic because she "acts like a robot" is the fact she has her emotions suppressed by an external force, one she will tell you about, rather than a neurochemical instability. Take a look at Gascogne Muse for further reference to said suppressor chip, as she sees it as getting in the way of her task. And if you oath her she asks you to turn that function off, something that changes all of her voice lines (aside from the non-love affection lines, because you can't oath a ship that doesn't love you.) And she's the only ship I know of that has post-oath lines for all of her skins, because that suppressor affects her so thoroughly.
There's also the fact that they are literal machines, but I imagine we're ignoring that for this analysis, I'll admit to skipping the set up and jumping straight into the meat of the video, so I apologize if you said something to that effect in your intro.
So they have something similar to the inhibitor chips the clones had from star wars, but its always switched on?
Or am I missing something
Her being on a spectrum seems a bit more likely but yeah she's a robot so that doesn't really matter
I'mma be honest, I would like to see more... mentally unstable PR ships. Not Roon-level, but more to the insane side, with girls who have more of an existential crisis, or nihilistic point of view because they never had a life, to begin with. Kinda balance out the scale a little bit.
Mainz constantly forgotten by her artist
Worry not Mainz we IB SKK shall never forget thee
With how stable the generations are, it's clear that Roon is an outlier.
IDK if the ships need to be put in a mental institution but having to analyse their lines, their character and all other aspects of them must have had you wondering of you need to be put with them.
Also there is no mental institution holding Roon for more then 5 seconds.
That's because I'm helping to break her out 😈
The grave will :)

04:35 considering Monarch went into a mirror sea all alone trying to find a cure for Hood and this dialogue between Hood and Monarch
Hood: Good evening, miss Monarch.
Mon: Pleasure meeting you, lady Hood. Are you here to recuperate again?
Hood: Only for a while. Like before, there's nothing really wrong with my body.
How has it been for you, miss Monarch?
Mon: ...........
Hood: Judging from your expression, it seems you have a lot to get off your chest. Let's find a place to sit down and talk~
Mon: Lady Hood, my mind is conflicted and confused.
Since my birth I've been training here, day after day, doing the same thing over and over.
What purpose do I have for existing like this?
I practice my swordsmanship everyday, but for what does the sword in my hand swing for?
I cannot find the answer to these questions in these static, unchanging days...
Narr: Monarch may seem cold at first, but once you know her well enough, you'll find that Monarch is actually very talkative.
This isn't the first time Monarch has expressed her deep-rooted confusion and perplexity to hood.
Most of the time, Hood simply listens silently, without any rush to either confirm or deny Monarch's words or beliefs.
Mon: My apologies, you're here to recover, yet I've just been rambling on about my own things...
Hood: The fact that you feel perplexed is proof of your existence. And existence always comes with purpose.
Miss Monarch, you simply need more time to find that purpose.
Mon: I hope so...then I won't bother your recovery anymore, thank you for listening to me all this time.
Hood: Although it is temporary, I do have to stay here by myself for a while now.
If you could come and talk with me again tomorrow, that'd be a great help to me~
How many years has it been and even with an entire cast of META ship girls none of them are even barely everslightly close to Roon's levels of problem except Bonhomme Richard META.
PR series 1:
1. Roon, definitely most insane and psycho.
2. Monarch, sane but sad with her abandoned issues.
3. Ibuki, sane and shy.
4. Izumo, sane but have severe trauma over fire/burning (she is the easiest to sink in WoWS by burning dmg).
5. Saint Louis, sane and religious.
6. Neptune, she's sane but just a bit cheeky.
PR series 2:
1. Seattle, sane and wholesome.
2. Georgia, sane but a coke addict.
3. Kitakaze, sane and prideful in a good way.
4. Azuma, sane and wholesome.
5. FDG, she's in mid of sane/insane because of her strong maternal instincts.
6. Gascogne, mid but a bit insane position.
PR series 3:
1. Chesire, sane and cute wholesome
2. Mainz, sane but strict and a coffee addict.
3. Odin, sane but quite chuuni.
4. Drake, sane but quite the treasure hoarder.
5. Champagne, sane but quite manipulative.
PR series 4:
1. Agir, sane with dominative personality
2. August V.P, sane with dominative personality (hella dangerous ASMR).
3. Marco Polo, sane but just being Marco Polo.
4. Hakuryuu, a bit insane when she has her katana but will change her attitude when her katana is taken away.
5. Anchorage, sane but quite childish.
PR series 5:
Most of them are sane and normal, but Chkalov is special because she's canonically have segs with you in her oath line.
Prinz Ruppercht is Always my Lovable and wife and Waifu hahaha
Mainz: a coffee addict and the "skinless".
What do You mean by "chuuni" in odin one?

I would say i agree with most of these. The one i have issue with is Marco Polo. She does not appear to be stable if you read any of the event stories. This could be due to influence of an Arbiter, but she's very Melomaniac and Power Hungry
I agree Marco Polo is of concern at least
Agreed. Her desire to provoke a religious war with Richelieu and the Iris girls borders of sociopathic.
@@davidford3115 a war between itally and france that would not end well there though it would be better to have what ever she is looking for in our hands aka the US hands and kept away from marco polo and the others. and only turn it over to richelieu and the free french when the time is right. otherwise the USA will use it to it's advantage to put the stop on marco polo and all of itally for good.
Guess what Marco did!
Monarch is my first PR ship, love her design and voice. After digging into her backstory because of her voice line, I made her sure that I would never abandon her by giving her my second ring (the first is Renown because PR ships weren’t a thing yet) and bringing her into every battle as my flagship.
My first one was Roon 💀
@@paoloxillo9012 mine was Unicorn, don't judge me
That Mainz bit at the start cut deep. As someone who Oathed Mainz on Christmas... Big sad
I would rank Monarch a bit further right. Her being passed up and discarded underpins her whole personality. From a Juustagram post, she feels like she is barely tolerated, and just a single failure away from being cast aside once again. We see this feeling almost driving her to destruction during Radiant Court.
Plymouth literally blows up parts of the base almost regularly. Nah she's fairly sane. Laughable. 🤣
I would rather point roon in the general direction of my enemies
I genuinely find this content amazing after the touch on rigging and personality anomalies of the Research ships commented on YorkII's event
Time to open the can of worms known as META ships
All of the META ships are broken because of the hellscape their world became. They need a lot of healing.
omg Looool
8:35 St Louis "Here we have a french woman. Despite that not being enough to put her into an institution, she's a standard religious warrior."
17:55 Champagne "-as she does need help with issues and may result in a danger to herself... or she could just be french."
Regarding Anchorage's mental state. She is truly slow of mind. Being a paper ship means there's always a chance for there to be hiccups in their construction.
"The mental states of the PR blueprint ships should gradually mature and stabilize over time after a period of interacting with the Commander."
"However, the peculiarities within the blueprint ships' hulls make this process non-linear, with some cases in which this relationship is not very evident at all."
"For example, some aspects of Anchorage's personality cannot be explained through psychological analysis. Some of the information elements that compose her hull display some irregular discrete patterns."
"Such phenomena have been observed in other blueprint shipgirls, but typically, contact with the Commander combined with the passage of time will typically work in tandem to reinforce the hull, eliminating these irregularities." (This points to why we have to provide so many blueprints.)
The reason why Anchorage calls you "Teacher" might have something to do with the peculiarities of her hull. We don't know if she even perceives you to be her "Commander."
From what we've observed in the past, when blueprint ships are first brought into being, a large amount of observable but undecipherable information blocks appear in their hulls.
One of the Sea of Stars' research objectives was to analyze the contents of these information blocks, but they quickly merge and reorganize as their minds stabilize.
But, Anchorage seems to be different. Despite having "stabilized," she still exhibits these anomalies.
From the Causality Transposition event.
This event led into the Yorktown II event. Parallel Superimposition
3:45 Hell, she may just be a Dom and the Commander just indulges her.
5:28 Nothing out of the ordinary.
6:58 Something tells me she'd just somehow find a way to either work while on vacation or sneak back to base.
7:18 She's got more things wrong with her than an already unstable Clanner with an Enhanced Imagine Neural Implant. Saying she has a few screws lose is like saying Capellans are disliked. Seriously, this girl is like if Herr Major was mentally unstable and had FAR too much firepower to satisfy the Murder Boner.
8:40 Dear God... Don't tell me this one has also escaped from Icarus Armories' Woman Containment Facility too!
9:29 She's a far better Paladin or Crusader than Darkness...
10:15 Fairly normal.
11:26 Ah, a simple Adrenaline Jockey then.
11:56 Oh... Well that's fair.
12:22 She should probably talk to someone.
12:55 Still better than Roon...
14:12 Once again, still better than Roon.
14:57 She could also just be into Pet Play, which given that she's on a Naval base makes her attitude highly unprofessional.
16:22 Still, if it was it's for the third time better than Roon.
17:03 Relatable, especially with current events.
17:41So she acts like a Government Sponsored Pirate? That's not too bad.
18:38 She's gonna need a long talk with a therapist.
19:08 So a Proud Warrior Race type.
19:25 And slightly Chuuni.
19:36 Better than a Dwarven Noble, at least she does something.
19:57 She should probably have a handler just to be safe.
20:16 Still better than Roon, also make sure her sword is safe and with her.
20:46 So does Gilgamesh in his Archer form.
20:57 Or she may just be a little bit like Kotomine Kirei since he also says "rejoice" a lot.
21:04 Tomboys are fine, we need more Tomboys in media.
21:11 She, like Izumo, may try and keep working while on vacation.
21:20 If The List for XCOM has taught me anything it's that The Great Commandy One will be deified regardless.
21:34 So far it's only Roon, and she's so far on the "Insane" side she may as well be on a separate page.
Left: doesn't need fixing(headpat)
Middle: I can fix her
Right: don't even try
Okay you've genuinely helped me, I've on purposely skipped PR 2 and went straight for PR 3 with Cheshire and Drake, after getting who I wanted in PR 1 cause I had no idea who I wanted in PR 2. But being the Coke'a Cola lover that I am myself, Georgia sounds perfect for me. While I love my Ironblood girls as well I just wasn't fond of Fred's design and with you explaining her Mothering Disorder, I think I can do with out that... Thanks a bunch!
Gameplay wise, Friedrich is T0. You shouldn't skip out on her.
@@DokutahShikikan I've heard and seen a lot of people say that yes so I'm well aware she's in that category. But I'm never one who uses meta-builds in games and always use what I like and prefer and Azur Lane is no different in me using the characters I like over who's probably more effective.
I've been playing since July of last year and haven't gotten a character to lv120 yet, my highest as of writing is my lv118 Retrofit Unicorn who see's a lot of action in my escort fleet clearing cause of her healing. I know I'm probably behind leveling compared to most average players, but AL is really just something I do on the side. Thanks for the reply though!
meanwhile a massive chunk of EN thinks that her Mothering DIsorder is God's gift to mankind and genuinely thinks that her disorder should manifests itself in a stronger way, like stuffing the skk into a cradle and a baby bottle. its wild how EN thinks the more messed up a girl is, the better wife material she is
and i really mean massive, otherwise fdg wouldnt have gotten 3rd place, even 2nd if eugen didnt get a 2nd wind (heh) in the form of her RQ skin
at the same time the same crowd also actively hate on most girls that treats the skk like an actual person
I believe the reason for Roon's obsession with violence and killing is because when she was conceptualized by Wargaming, all they had for Roon were the turrets and the rest of the ship was a Nurnberg copypasta. Since her design was literally just a weapon and nothing else, therefore her crave for violence is her dominant (if not only) personality trait.
For Roon, yes she does need to be closely monitored, but as long as the Commander is around her allies won't have to worry about her going rogue. It's only if something happens to the Commander do the inhabitants of the base need to be very wary.
Odin having anxiety would make sense as Norse Odin has anxiety, kinda setting in motion the start of raganarok

Some examples are, Roon was a serial killer and she was experimented on as a part of her penalty, Fdg is the mother of the current (IB, probably) commander and wife of the previous one. Her husband died during her pregnancy so she was the commander for a while. Brest and Haku are manifested dieties and champange is a doll that has been given life. Also an asulum skin for Roon would be dope. Also, I think that ancho is in the same boat (pun intended) as Inui Shinjū from My dressup darling being that she is just physically overdeveloped
These video getting out of hand but I love them
Edit: I only play the JP version and didn’t know Roon was crazy maybe I should’ve played en before using the ring.
roon is my first ship to be fate 5 😂
roon is insane? who knew? XD
@Dokutah Shikikan 8:15 Good. The crazier the fighter, the better the chance I survive XD
Love the video, and I agree with most of your placements.
Only one I might contest is FdG, who's probably slightly more sane then you give her credit for, maybe more on par with Cheshire.
That's fair, but I still believe the potential for going berserk were a 'child' of hers to be lost is quite high.
@@DokutahShikikan That isn't saying much considering most ships would go berserk if she SKK went kaput. Don't think anyone besides SKK achieves the status of "child", I highly doubt she would go insane if a comrade were to sink. So saying she'd go insane if SKK died is sort of redundant because that's basically most of the port if not every single ship. She'd probably just reek more destruction but that's also due to her just being one of the strongest. That's how I see it at least.
@@FriendlyNeighborhoodCityzen wait, FDG is one of strongest ship? welp, im using and it doesnt feels like it (shes the strongest in term of OIL comp thou XD0
@@midnighteclipsed2738 If we're going by the Tiering, then she's still one of the top ships, she's at least in the Top 10% of her category which means she's "one of the strongest ships".
@@midnighteclipsed2738 She's still one of the top 3 with New Jeresy and Musashi. Situationally Ulrich can get up there as well.
I did like St. Louis' reaction to the chaplin in Akagi2.
Could you please Do PR6?? TwT
Good vid
It feels like Roon finished 1st in the 1000m Shikikan race
its funny how as a person who doesnt play this game the only ship girl here who ive heard of is roon the most unstable of the entire list
8:19 Recommendation: consciousness termination.
Anchorage in other games: Normal Ship
Anchorage in Azur Lane: *One Mcnamara's 100000 vessels*
18:54
Me after playtesting Ägir: *my life is a lie?*
Mommy Azuma ❤❤!!!!
ah yes, so here we have (almost) every PR shipgirl... and then theres Roon
I can fix her
Do you guys know any games filling the intersection of armored core and azur lane?
They are all just like me fr
With the exception of the use of the false word "irregardless" this is very good!
I bet Roon enjoys Huey Lewis and The News
Hold up, Ägir is perfectly sane?
Roon need some friend with her
knowing Roon, she is more then a danger to anyone....she need to be lock up and only allow out if she has 30 armed bodyguards and seven battlefleet all task to stopped her the second she goes full on berzerked
Realistically, she'd have to be put down or dicomissioned (whatever you want to call it), locking her up isn't a solution and she can't be around other ships. TBH it still confuses me how they decided to make her so batshit crazy to the point where living in a community with other Kansen is objectively not possible.
@Leon's Bingo Time Well before the PR collab with WG ever started, AL already had Junyou. Who is probably the only shipgirl more mentally messed up than Roon. As bad Roon is she is at least predictable compared to Junyou and later Junyou META. Scary part with Junyou, is the possibility she might actually be right about the Commander.
