I think you've missed Seydlitz's potential in PvP. Her skills give her a semi preload (and give Lutzow a preload), which are really popular in PVP. Combine that with the 10 seconds of unkillable. I can't wait to try them against the Italian fleets!
I expected this from kimo since his not into pvp.
I will definitely be using her in PvP, I'm not sure if I'll use both of them together. But I'll probably run her, New Jersey and then uvh

I have a question about sedlitz's barrage does it only procs one per battle or not cuz my sedlitz only procs her barrage when she fires for the first time
Seidlitz can also work with Thuringen as she has Marvels of History skill and so her debuff can work almost right from the start with UvH and Emden
I like Thuringen. She also a debuffer and Seydlitz activator. Works like almost Bismarck buffing IB ships. Anyone bringing Emden should pack Thuringen too.
Seydlitz and Lutzow are def Top Tier BC in PvP with their Preload-Lite and Seydlitz has a one time Death Defying skill perfect for Last Stand PvP Ship and Lutzow wiping out Vanguards that got hit by her Armor Ignoring Big Seven

@@3_eL you should try to get all the ships since pvp is something you get into when you reach the end of the story and you may realize you get more interested.
Elbing personality and art is Tier EX.
For BBs boss fleets I think Emden is a very good addition, since we have 2 KMS meta BBs and a CB (Ägir).
5:21 the second video is her 1st skill, the top one is her AOA. You can see that in game lol. You can also see the slow debuff being applied in the 2nd and 3rd videos.
14:00 that's not true for her, the trash mobs before the boss will be enough to proc her full 3 stacks, she only has to sink 3 ships after all and she will one shot any trash mob.
16:18 It's a 2,060 base damage barrage.
25:55 You know she herself does not have to shoot the plane down right? It's just ANY plane shot down within the AA CIRCLE. It's possible the easiest skill to proc.
I mean Ludtzow would need to be able to fire at the trash mobs before the boss to trigger her skills, that might not be really easy to do for a BC. Had it been on a vanguard, it'd be easier to use in a boss fleet.

@@ThePhengophobe so i got all of the event ships, all i can say is seydlitz isnt bad but i found Lutzow and Emden rly good, the rest isn't bad but there are better ones

@@mawile3037 both, when Complier is messing with their mind, Emden told Seydlitz to execute paragraph 11 in a flashback.. that event probably never happen in this timeline but in alternate timeline.

well Thuringen first barrage which shoot whenever her main gun is charged can be buffed by Seydlitz since she hasmarvel of history for 80% decrease reload time
11:56 The additional DD gun is useful though if you want additional +35 FP on top of the +45 FP from CL and BB gun unless you want accuracy then just equip the STAAG AA.
Been waiting for this video. I love them all, even if I am salty about not getting HMS love.
QE humiliated and sent away for second part of event, no HMS ships alongside other factions in final battle and no cut scene after main event finished. Really sticking 2 fingers up at HMS at this point.

don't forget that Thuringen has 200% efficiency in her secondary gun
I think you might be sleeping on Seydlitz. Her FP stat is a little lacking, but that’s mitigated in three different ways.
First, two slots for secondary guns means two guns will be boosting her FP: with Nep gun and Baguette gun, that’s 20 FP more than a BB using a gold CL secondary and the FP AA gun. Second, a flat 18% FP boost. Awesome. Third, a 20% damage boost, probably average it out to 15% assuming she takes steady damage and ends the fight at half health.
I think she’s going to end up way, way more powerful than people give her credit for right now. Together, those three sources of extra shelling power are probably going to overcorrect for her FP stat.
This should be the first release/series of videos once a banner comes out
I may be wrong, but it looks like lutzow's 3rd skill (the one with big dmg and 10% chance) also procs when she hit someone with her secondaries, which makes her really good at PVP
You had the Emden barrages backwards looks like. The lower was the slow skill, you can see it debuff speed on a chibi, the top as AoA.
Which site do you use to view the ingame barrages for the ships ?

Random thought, for Emden would equipping a DD/ Large Cruiser gun (like the Twin 128mm/45 SK C/41 Dual Purpose Gun Mount) give her both Marvels of History abilities?

Emden has a ghost cl gun no noted on the wiki. she can shoot 2 torpedo barrage each time instead of 1.

I'm (not) out cubes to give, so it's not the issue for me... Since last year, the stock only grows and it's weirdly borring that after almost every event I end up with more resources that I started with o.o Stupid thing to complain about, but here we are.
P.S. You can have 3ple machine gun mob fleet, since Seydlitz can buff Lutzow's reload alike her own HP dependent buff. So UvH, Lutzow(flag) and Seydlitz.
I hate that I got Seydlitz from cubes rather than Lutzow who I'm missing :(

I wonder, since there were times larger groups of ships where used, how long until we get the option to run double fleets, aka up to 12 ships per fleet (6 for vanguard and main each) in one battle
Edit: It would also allow harder maps, since you would be able to use more ships, aka have more survivability and do more damage
Imagine the lag from multiple launched aircraft 😅 , like 6 cv's airstrike at same time + some have a barrage that accompany the airstrike 😱 = dead mobile device if it's a low end phone/tablet.

I may be the most unlucky or lucky person I kept getting the d3 ship only from build and not stage or shop and I was able to max lb her with 2 extra that’s a 0.5% chance and I still haven’t gotten emden at all

on a side note: Lützow seems to be more of a PvP Ship than anything else instead of AA slap another DD weapon on her and whenever the enemy beats your vanguard She's gonna raise hell with either a CL and DD Weapon that have a 10% chance to basically instakill or 2 DD Weapons for faster shooting

Just a endgame player's point of view:
I think at this point, azurlane needs to dish out way more powerful ships or new mechanics to make meaningful changes to meta if they want to keep older players.
I mean unless you are into full KMS fleets or waifu over meta, Emden is the only ship that have a niche use for end game players.
In mob fleet, preload is prioritized, so this banner isn't useful at all...
Personally my account is quite similar to kimo's account, mostly 120s and endless gold and more than enough rainbow gears. I don't have the motivation to get more than 10k pts in events anymore because i'm overflowing with everything. I really hope azurlane can evolve further, beyond just dropping UR ships and exact same event template every month. I don't know how but i really hope not just simple power creep.
edit: Maybe siren fleets with totally different mechanic would be a cool change. Like how GFL finally added their enemy (coalitions) to playable character pools.
Agree, I only log in to do dailies now and even then i'm struggling to motivate myself to play. My account is basically complete and all there is left to do is grind OpSi and wait for an event that I actually like

@@rarityrarity I just did some test, in a perfect KMS fleet scenario like FDG,UvH,Bismarck+Agir,Mainz,Emden, her 10% FP can help clear a 14-2 mob up to 10 seconds faster than using shima or Kronshtadt, so she works well up to ch12.
But in a lategame mob fleet, there's only 1KMS BB (other two being perseus and a preload carrier), so any UR (esp shima) will out damage her FP boost.
And in boss fleet while she can boost 2KMS BB+Agir, but like above mentioned, her survivability isn't good. Against Sharnhorst Meta, i find she just doesn't help the vanguard survive till the end, while my usual vanguard Anchorage,helena,eldridge survives 100% of the time.
So yeah, she only have a very niche use in boss fleet when the boss can't kill the vanguard.
But ill be honest, she fit in so well with Agir and Mainz as vanguard, with the white hair, black and red theme...

@@ErenYeager-hy7yx if you are new i recommend look at just3c ship guides and look at the azurlane community tier list.
TLDR, emden is super great until chp11 maybe 12 since she doesn't have AA to deal with aircrafts.
Lutz is not that great, only worth invest if you don't have any Tier1/Tier2 battleships.
I am hoping to get Emden i really want her with my iron blood fleet :(

-Yorck is top tier just by the ability to equip CA and CL guns as a vanguard ship, better than krunkov even
-Emden loads torps like Gascogne loads her guns, AA is only necessary on W13 and more bigger gun = better, tiny itty-bitty aa gun WEAK
-Elbing can equip two guns and torps, look previous point
New(old) ships are great, planes aren't a concern and the carrier will die out in a few years 👍

I'm sorry, but a flat 10% FP buff from Emden still seems so meh. CVs already have frontline buffers that just throw out 15% extra damage for no good reason. No specific faction requirements.
BB frontline buffers need some help
I guess my take on this 10% for BB is that BB tend to target a single enemy so the 10% is likely focused. While cv just targets the back end of the screen (well except for converging torpedo) but most of the damage gain from 15% buff is spread out. Which could mean that the 10% boost do more damage to a single target than the 15% that is spread out.
Or maybe I'm wrong.
