  • "The Phantom Menace" rough cut deleted scene - Bail Antilles (Adrian Dunbar) of Alderaan in the Vote of No Confidence scene. Star Wars Episode 1. FROM WIKIPEDIA: "Actor Adrian Dunbar filmed scenes for the role, which at that point was referred to as Bail Organa. In the deleted scene, "Organa" seconded Queen Amidala's call for a Vote of No Confidence in Chancellor Valorum. During production, the character's name was changed to Bail Antilles, and Jimmy Smits was ultimately cast for the part of Bail Organa in the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones."

Of all the deleted scenes I’ve watched I have never even heard of this until I googled bail antilles. George Lucas NEEDS to remaster the trilogy with every deleted scene and idea! Even if it was 4 hours a movie I’d still watch it.

I’d love that but Disney probably wouldn’t allow it out of fear that it would outshine the garbage they make, which it would

@@MrJonathanSmith Agreed. I can't believe the crap that Disney puts out there and claims that it's star wars. I think they paid way too much for the franchise and now they're doing anything they can to make their money back as quickly as possible. That includes releasing movies that should have a 10% rating on Rotten tomatoes.

Now, can We get Adrian Dunbar in a Star Wars film/series/show...like, The Mandalorian or SW: Underworld (if it ever gets greenlit)? Maybe, he was one of the few who happened to be off-world when the Death Star destroyed Alderaan? It would be great to see him and Mon Mothma working within The New Republic. (I'd love an interaction between him and Carasynthia Dune.) I wish this scene had been in the 1999 film. It would be interesting to think that Princess Leia is the only remaining Princess of Alderaan...and that Prince Bail Antilles is the only remaining Prince of Alderaan, as well. I wonder if Bail, Leia, and Cara ever had dealings, after the destruction of their planet? That would be great to explore on The Mandalorian, esp. if Din Djarin ever ventures to Coruscant to enlist the aid of The New Republic in stopping Moff Gideon, and searching for the home of The Child...
