This video has become one of my all-time favorites! Your storytelling skills are exceptional, and the way you weaved together information and personal anecdotes was brilliant. I found myself feeling motivated and empowered after watching. Your authenticity is refreshing, and it's clear that you genuinely want to make a positive impact on your audience. I'm grateful for this insightful video and can't wait to see more!
No way he spoke! Hey good video, I think lots of the ones where you don’t speak make sense, but many can also be much better understood for those who already know the right/wrong form rather than a person with wrong form being confused about both forms. Great stuff
For me, I've always envisioned I'm literally pulling a difficult lawn mower cord trying to start it. Explosive power up to start the mower, ease it back to position so the cord wraps up. Literal lawn mowers. I can't imagine doing them any other way, it hits just right for me.
There's everything wrong with it. It's a lat exercise, not for the core. Tweaking it to hit both makes it less effective for both. The main problem with hoodie Boi is the leg drive to cheat the weight up. Blocking the rack makes him a rude noob as well
@@blade797 You use a lot more than just lats for any sort of rowing motion so you might as well get a real workout out of it. People can wait 30 seconds until I finish my set too, I’d do the same for someone else.
This exercise is insanely good and so is bent over barbell rows but both tire me out extremely quickly even before i actually get reach muscular failure 🙂
I do this as a compound exrecise for pulling strength because I train mma and it helps a lot with wrestling. If you rerack the dumbbells close to you in the rack so people will still be able to take them, nothing will happen if you put some dumbbells on the floor for 3 sets.
the one where u hit ur leg was the clothest to the right one for this exercise. But u have to put ur left leg on the top of the bank/seat, so u cant hit ur leg during the exercise.
I can't even lift it like that it feels like my back is gonna crack. I must have the parallel stand with my hand supporting me, kinda like tripod table. I'm 175, I'm not that muscular if anything i look slightly above average barely, definitely sleeper genetics, but I can do 125 lbs dumbbell rows for 20 reps on a good day. 😢 the journey is so slow. I watch my macros but still the grind is real 😭
Can you do a video on how to not hit your thighs on the way up? I try to move the db as you do in a curved fashion but it always feels as if right before I get a good lat contraction, I end up hitting my thighs on the way up. Any way to counter act this?
I think you are confusing dumbell rows with kroc rows, they are a fucking blast for the traps and mid back. They actually can legit singlehandedly build your whole back with just one top set. Yes they are that powerful. They are also uber fatiguing, usually done strapped for 20 reps minimum. They are done cheat style with a more upright torso angle, at faster tempos. Before critizicing find if what you are saying is actually legit.
A good way to think is to imagine your putting the weight in your pocket.
Great tip brotha 🙏🏼
Good call. It's not like the 40 is gonna go anywhere in my pocket. 😂
No, your pants will go down.
That's called banana row
Nice😂😂😂
I’m so happy you are finally explaining why. This is much more helpful for me know how it should be done instead if just seeing it
100000% agree
Yes I’ve been watching a lot of these videos confused at the end when he just makes a face and continues …. The instruction at the end was missing.
you can just see the form, like, CLEARLY. I would never hire someone who can't play a game of finding the differences in 2 pictures
@@akiraic well the thing is I’m someone who’s new at this. I know it sounds weird but for someone like me, both look right at first xD
The first time I’ve ever heard him speak lol. But explaining definitely helps so I’d encourage and recommend that for future videos.

Solid post and clear description on what to do and why.💥
These are the tips I NEED!! Thank you!
Muchas gracias por subir el video con subtítulos, lo valoramos mucho. Aquí seguiremos apoyándote
Lo valoras solo tú 😬

Thanks tyler, i'm gonna fix my technique thanks to you 😊
New form video is MUCH better at explaining for those of us who are not experienced gym goes. Im glad i stuck around!

Video with explanation rocks. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for changing the music
There’s nothing wrong with doing them the way the guy in the black hoodie was - it’s a great core workout if you torque your lower body into it
Look into kroc rows. They are nuts

I can't remember exactly how to do every exercise perfectly when I go for a workout 😂
Thank you so much for explaining why now! Awesome stuff!
Thank you for adding in explanations.
I love the dark souls death sound for the incoming explanation. Sounds like a major surprise cause you don’t usually do them
Great breakdown/Explanation!
Thank you so much for the spanish subtitles, now I can show this video to my dad! Keep it up!
Great explanation, thanks!! Stay swole brother!
I'm confused, I thought the whole purpose of a dumbell row is for your lats?!?!?!?
“Inconsiderate” is a word A LOT of gym bros never learned lol
Nice Biceps!!!
And thanks for that explanation
Thanks for the expilantion i was always feeling this in my arms and not the lats but now i really feel the lats activating.
This exercise is insanely good and so is bent over barbell rows but both tire me out extremely quickly even before i actually get reach muscular failure 🙂
Thanks for communicating the breakdown. Facial expressions keep me laughing. Thanks gym bro!
Bro pulled out asian dad's emote
Congrats on 400k!
I always put whichever knee is on the weight’s side, on the bench to give a bit more room. Helps build stability a bit too.
Seee dude I like this explanation much fucking better!!!!
So helpful ♡♡
Wow fellas he actually did it I ain’t never talking shit again he finally explained
Wooow con subtitulos al español you're amazing man keep Goin on!
Was wo dering about proper form for some time thanks
Great tip
Thanks short king
Really good explanation 👌
My dog stepped on a bee 😩
my bee stepped on a dog
Now the dude that wants the bench press is pissed.
If you see someone rowing like that they could be doing croc rows, something small guys don’t know about
EXACTLY thanks! Thank god someone gets it

I like the new emote
Very good! Please keep doing these more-elaborated instructional videos. 👍🤗🖖
Tus videos han mejorado muchísimo, me siento muy feliz
I always do it on the rack but I know to keep a low bent over position to bias the entire lat especially the lower lat.
Thanks bro 🤜🤛
C'est vraiment top d'avoir prit en considération les commentaires et de donner des explications pour chaque exercice 💪
That's why I prefer rows
Imagine saying doing rows at the dumbbell rack is inconsiderate but then move on to doing rows on the bench lol
Loving it man. Better than gym xoach
Great explanation on how to the dumbbell rows! Also, what kinda shoes you rocking?
Thank you
Most places don’t even accept in person résumés anymore. I’ve tried this approach many times and they just direct you to their website.
Uses the bench press bench while telling people to get out of the dumbell rack!
Gracias por los subtítulos en español, me gusta mucho tu contenido :D
Thats the perfect place to lift when you're running the rack and you're all alone in the gym.
Good example
The path should resemble a crescent
Last time I did a set in front of the weight rack, some guy told me not to do that 😅
I usually do it with one knee on bench

He can Talk 🤯😮
I like it when there’s finally explanation but is it just me or the reel just suddenly being cut
My knees always gets in the way though
Honestly i often feel my lats more in the first position
I also like to put my opposite knee on the bench
WHY IS NOBODY MENTIONING THE TRANSITION AT THE END.
Thanks
Thanks for the spanish translation buddy! 😊
Climb the knee up to avoid hitting your leg
This song is sooo good. I didnt mind the "sticking out your tongue for the picture" but i hated the 50 cent "many me wish death upon me"
So if you want to hit rear delts then pull towards your shoulders and if you want to hit lats more then sweep the dumbbells back towards pocket
insane loop transition, looks unintentional
Do chest supported rows
Gracias por los subtitulos en español 🥺🥹❤️🙏🏼
I try to keep the leg that is on the side of the dumbbell on the bench to avoid brushing on my leg
Love this kind of row. Up too 105lbs for reps.
“Kinda inconsiderate” Ah yes let’s row on the bench press instead
Guess nobody is sticking out his tongue for the picture today, we got a dark souls death sound effect instead
Finally you explain the damn videos 😂😂😂

What about kroc rows???
and that's what someone says with a back like a mouse😁
ye, you gotta get tf out the bench setups too. Go to the free weight area
Spanish translation? Legend
put it in your pocket is what i've heard, stuck with me since
Inconsiderate is the wrong word to use ...😂😂😂
Hello if you doing the dumbell rows 3sets does it mean your doing 3sets each side right??
"Put the db in your pocket"
Cool loop
Que cara bom, agora só faltam as legendas em português
Where do u edit the shorts?
What's the solution to the annoying problem at the end?
Danke
Bros the same height sitting down
Its called a KROC ROW lol you’ll learn one day bud
