This is fantastic! TFS this project, I'm so going to make a book like this.
Never thought to use paper towels this way! way Cool! Can't wait to try this.
This was inspiring to me. I made several spell books. I wrapped the block of pages with Glad Press and Seal before I started so as to keep them safe from the glue and paint. It was especially fun to do this for some Halloween themed books for my young grandson. Thanks for the great tutorial!
this is so cool, I love it. thanks for sharing
Wow, Einat, it's terrific technic! Thanks a lot for shareing!

Wow!! I just made a book similar to your process but didn't know how to stick all the pages together! I tore a deep hole in my pages and want to glue a spooky napkin In the bottom. You've helped me sooooo much. Now with your ideas I'm anxious to complete mine!
I want to thank you for this video. I am not artistic or crafty at all and get discouraged easily. You made it so easy to follow. I am 34 years old and I finished my first art project EVER that wasn’t for school because of your tutorial. My book looks great and it has given me confidence. Thank you so much!
I'm so happy! Keep creating!

What a great idea! Very nice! LG Tinchen
oh oh oh! Love this! Saw a preview of the inside so I already know this gets even better. I know both my daughter and my niece would love this. I am wondering if I could substitute cheese cloth for the paper towels though. And I think when I try this instead of the brown paint I'm trying purples and greens (I know their favorite colors); probably in iridescent sprays. I am so excited to try this for myself. thanks.
very nice I'm going to try this once video 2 is done x
Pretty book?? Why it's downright HIDEOUS!!!!! Excellent job!!! I love it!!! Btw, how did you know my great grandmother was a witch?? This looks a lot like the book she gave me...(evil witch cackle)
SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just a suggestion looks great but layering a little mossy green would age it
I did this on pumpkins, obviously not the pages part, but they came out great.
nice!
how cool is that ??? wow .great job. you said it was a SPELL book ?? it looks like a Jewish Torah to me ?? was it ?? and you just Altered it ?? I have several old books like this that I could use .TFS cant wait to see pt 2 :)
Glue the new glue stick to the end of the one in the gun. You won't have to hold it. 😀
interesting!
love this book. can you tell me where you purchased the gold paste? thank you
She said that her fingers are too small to fit in the eyes but every one makes mistakes
Cool way to make spider-web. THANKS :D
Einat,du bist eine Künstlerin,wo nimmst du bloß immer deine tollen Ideen her?
Was is das für ein Papier was du über das Spinnennetz klebst?
LG und einen schönen 3.Advent von Bille🤗✨🎄
Hi Einat, I loved this tutorial, I just wanted to check did you spray the towel first to make it damp. Have just subscribed to our newsletter :)
+lilisbuttons Yes, it makes it easier to "sculpture" and give it the look you want. Thanks for watching!
I think the spider web would have turned out better if you had just glued some yarn or embroidery floss onto the book. It would have been a lot easier too! Maybe next time!
this is an awesome spell book! thanks for sharing !
Maybe use puff paint instead for web.....just an idea.
Hi Einat, love the tutorial and learned a lot. I have 1 question which of the inka gold paste did you use? There are a few gold colors and I love the one you're using.
+Mary Clementi I'm using Old Gold. Thanks for watching!
Very interesting. I love this look. I am getting ready to make a JJ of a similar nature. But my question is where can I find books written in Hebrew? I have a mixture of ethnicities in my genealogy makeup and want to make a series of JJ's featuring each one. I want to use as much vintage material as possible and it is very hard to find books from these here where I live. Do you know of a source where I can order from online? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thx dear.
I think the only place you can get books in Hebrew is in Israel. Don't know where. Sorry. Thanks for watching!
Will the same effect work if I use tissue paper instead of a paper towel? Can't wait to try this!
+Robin Conlin yes, but you'll need to use more than one layer because it's very thin. Thanks for watching!
Where did you get that book
hey dude how much u sell,I want to buy RM60 CAN OR NOT I WANT TO BUY IT IT COOL!!
Wondering how long does it take the Inca Gold to dry so it doesn't rub off?
Not long. You can use gold paint as well
Where did u get the gold padte and what it the name of it?
India Colee...i think it's called 'Inka gold' or some variation to Ink of gold.
Inka Gold. You can find it online in amazon or other craft supplies stores. Thanks for watching
dose the gold past dry like paint or do you need to seal it?
No seal needed
Love this!!!I have a question though...doesn't need gesso first?...:))..i am a little bit confused...
No you don't have to. Thanks for watching!
i made it!!!!Its soooo perfect!!!Thank you ....
WHERE THE FUCK CAN I GET INKA GOLD IN STORES!?!?!?!?!?!?! I live in California and I can't find it.
look for buff and rub, in a little tube. if you can not find that, use gold metallic paint... fifty cents at wal mart, get a little on your finger, rub with you thumb till almost dry then rub it on the area you want gold. Will take a little longer but works and lots cheaper!
Are those real spells
Great tutorial but it sounds like you are inside a refrigerator
would T.P work in place of paper towels?
No. You need something soft to cover the book and add texture. Thanks for watching!
What about a thin paper they use to wrap breakable things at the store???
It might work...
What shade of brown paint and which gold?
Any dark brown and gold you have will work great
Einat Kessler Another question for you! I made one with a skeleton hand. The paper towels seemed to be too high up. I pushed and a couple spots broke. Should I just patch it up?
@@stephonthemoon yes!
Any color will do.
Einat Kessler Thank you so much!
What type of glue gun is she using
Where do I find your email for the labels?
In the description under the video
Mogepodge??????
Modpodge is a glue that dries clear and is great for sealing layers in a project. Thanks for watching!
idea is good but so boring
Love this!!
