Awesome car. I remember my father telling me that power is nothing without traction. Oh could have a million HP, but if your tires just spin then it's worthless. Got to find that perfect balance!

@@Kevin98NY Yea but there is the limit of traction in any tire. With 100 000 hp there is no tire that fould put it down the road perfectly. If the wheels spin on the launch then you should make the car grippier, not more powerful.

@@barbosaguzman6101 depends on the application. "A v6" vs "a v8" is not a fair comparison when making 2000 hp. Engine block strength is a lot more important than displacement or amount of cylinders.

Geek alert. At 0:52 there's a nice demonstration of the speed difference between light and sound. The light from the parachute has already reached your eyes, which means that the car is now decelerating, but the sound of the revving engine is still traveling towards you.

I can't believe they did this to the Nismo GT-R
Girardi Alot of people including T1 shop have older GTRs and want to make them look newer so they throw Nismo body kits on them. One good thing about the chassis not changing for over 8 years all parts are compatible just a few screws pull front and rear bumper and side skirts replace with new model boom totally new look. Aslo tons of shops selling carbonfiber replacement bumpers to shave some weight never know what's under that wrap but I can almost guarantee that's not a real Nismo.

the best think about the GT-R's is that you dont need a bodykit to get better performance because of its dynamics
The loss of traction there was kind of sad. If you aren't holding the grip, balance the throttle. You can't keep counter-steering with your foot flat hoping you'll catch traction at that speed.

horsepower is not directly proportional to acceleration, how can you compare it to the chiron? there's so many factors of both cars that you didn't even take into account.
nah acceleration is pretty good comparison. Although i bet the Chiron weighs a lil bit more. This car makes around 1800. I believe they had it turned down for the first run and the third run was actually like 1900 hp.

Looks to me he was doing something with the steering wheel he shouldn't. At such a powerful acelleration, it's easy to over compensate. Once he did so, the weight shift in the vehicle does the rest and he flies off track. I've only driven a 1400 Hp car so far...however, physics are the same. Good he learned the lesson and did better in the second attempt. I'll give him, that such a car ain't easy to drive.

illstplaya it's set up that way on purpose. It keeps temps down on exhaust valves and turbos also there's an ignition cut on gear change so some un-burnt fuel will pass straight through the engine

Wow... this thing sounds really nice for an R35. I like the sound of the V#3#DE motors in general, but more so along the lines of standards you use to judge "regular cars". For the class of car that the GTR is, the sound is a bit disappointing... but this one sounds sweet.... almost like a really built RB motor.
