Watch a 2021 live performance. The formation makes more sense because Handong returned and filled the gap. 😂 Although their 2020 music show stages for Black or White are really awesome too. In recent times they've been performing this song more and I think it's because of how well it shows off all of their performance skills.
Spot on noticing Gahyeon's facial expressions. Those eyebrows of her do their own choreography she's so captivating to watch
the choreo was made with 7 people in mind, I think. one member was away during this era.
Handong (she was on Youth With You survival show in China during this era)
Glad you were able to watch the performance video to see the outfit editing! That really makes it special.
So the reason that some of the formations are asymmetrical is because their 7th member, Handong, was in China during the production of this album. There are some live stages they did once she came back though and it’s even better with her in it!
Also; the girl who you mentioned doing all the eyebrow expressions is Gahyeon! She was also the girl with the pink hair in BEcause. As a group they truly all have killer stage charisma, but Gahyeon’s expressiveness is really unique and always delightful.

the entire song is a homage to mj - the title, the theme of the lyrics, the outfits, and of course the choreo.
It's good to watch this kind of videos because even though you don't have a full view of the choreography, you can see the girls' expressions and that gives it something special. That's why I like to watch the fancams. Seeing them individually is very interesting 🤗

This is where one of the members, Handong was in China due to the lockdown restrictions. That's why there's only 6 here. Still great performances and an awesome song. They DID say it was paying homage to MJ.

Oooh, I've been excited for this video! as others have already mentioned, the reason why the formation looks a bit weird is because the choreography was probably made with 7 people in mind; there were only 6 members this comeback because one member (Handong) was away in China. If you get the chance, I'd recommend checking out a more recent live performance, where Handong is present, to see the difference and how she fits in.
