I always can tell the difference in a box cake from scratch how ever you might be on to something here .
Made this cake today, and it turned out amazing! I ended up using the Betty Crocker super moist yellow cake mix because the store I went to did not have Duncan Hines but it still was tasty and I was surprised at how much the crumb resembled a pound cake. Thank you for sharing❤

Great content Teresa for a dessert that’s quick and easy. I’m so use to making pound cakes from scratch, I’ve never tried to make a box cake pound cake. It looks delicious. This is something to do occasionally.

You might just need to make two different pound cakes because as big as it is if you add another box it is going to overflow in your oven.

It's nothing wrong with trying something different. All her recipes are delish and from scratch.
I thought she said she was going to melt her butter but she didn't
The butter is always at room temperature so really there's no need.
