- Remember a few weeks ago I asked if you had any questions you wanted me to answer? #AskJohanna? Well here's the video I made. It answers a tiny number of those queries (so sorry to the 100's of questions I didn't manage to answer - another video is planned!). Did you see that Chris Cheng colors your flowers on CZcams? Just gorgeous!
I actually found out that watercolor pencils work wonders!!! I was a little bit scared, but if you use the tiniest amount of water it doesn't bleed or even produce "wrinkles" on the page! I tried on Enchanted Forest and Lost Ocean, Secret Garden's thinner/porous paper scares me a little bit more..
Can I use watercolor paints on any / all of your books?
Please do a video on how to color a sunbeam or moonbeam. I have seen a few with your coloring books. I bought them and I want to do the night time with a beam coming down and everything I the beam is in color. The background is black and grey.
Hi Johanna. Not sure if you are still monitoring these comments, but thanks so much for creating these lovely books. I've just completed my first picture in the Secret Garden, Artist Edition and it was wonderful. I was able to do some serious wet in wet watercolor techniques. The paper quality is great. Do see your publishers doing the Lost Ocean and/or the Enchanted Forest in a Artist Edition?
Hi Joanna, my question is how do you colour a sunset in the background of one of your colouring pages. I use the Faber Castel Polychromos and was wondering what colours to use and how to shade them together. Many thanks.

Hi Johanna I have just started using Inktense and Faber Castel water colour pencils and love colouring flowers, but I have trouble with red I just can't seem to get it right do you have and suggestions

What's your favorite drawing you've ever done?
Ma'am which color pencils do you prefer for The Lost Ocean Coloring Book ? I am using the Faber Castell Coloring Pencils
jamal idrees Johanna is always going to say steadier cause she has a deal with them or something... the Faber Castell Polychromos work very well for lost ocean because they’re a bit harder. Lost Ocean is the most intricate of all her books with such tiny little spaces, so any kind of hard pencil is good. FC polychromos, crayola, any of the steadler pencils, etc
