Yess!! I also have the same problem. I got a 70 series Flowmaster. It has a really bad noise inside the truck. The higher the RPM, the less the noise inside. I think the reason that the sound outside the truck is louder and there is less noise caused by the chambers.
Nice truck 👍 train horns and loudest flowmaster on the market. I bet your neighbors are stoked to see you! 😆

I had a Flowmaster on my 20’ Ranger took it off after a week , pipes discolored, went and bought a Borla best exhaust so far high quality stainless on for 2 months and still looks great

I deleted everything on my Lincoln Mark VIII from the manifold back and added the flowmaster extreme and it sounds mean and nasty very lone drone over 40 mph but I get alot of thumbs up from other drivers and people walking as I go by ,overall pretty happy with this setup it runs more loose and free also not restricted ike before
When you installed this system, did you remove the resonator or leave it on the truck?
Does this muffler produce a tone? Or is it because the muffler was removed?
What did ya do to get the tips off the bumper/hitch?
What’s the offset on your wheels man?? They look -44 but correct me if I’m wrong!
2018 have quite a bit more power direct injection and higher head flow so the engine alone is much louder and totally different tone then the 11-14 sounds good tho
that is why I am selling my 2013 f150 5.0, just sucks now

I have a Magnaflow cat back on my 2018. It sounds good but the drone is getting to be too much. I wears on you when you’re on the highway after a while.

I like the flowmaster outlaw, but I wouldn't want it on my truck to drive everyday. I prefer the American thunder.

I don’t think it’s supposed to rattle like that 😳
A couple points. Really only sounds loud when your in it. And 18-2000rpms is worse. I guess it's what you call loud. If you have run headers with thrush true duals no cats. But it's definitely one of the loudest catbacks. And it was expensive at $800.

No they aren’t, I put in an after market remote starter.

Raw metal doesn’t hold well with the slightest moisture. Powder coating would be better but screw that lol. Sounds good and truck looks great

drone causes your teeth and ear drums to vibrate. its not a muffler sound but a deep frequency that will make you almost dizzy after a hour of driving. Its between 1800 -2200 rpm. Corsa systems have o drone and plenty of sound on the outside of the truck not inside the truck. Only good sounds are heard inside.
I never understood what people meant about drone? You got a new exhaust to make it louder. Do people expect it to just quiet down at higher rpm’s? I don’t get it.
There are mufflers that are very loud while quiet inside the cab or not as loud as other mufflers inside the cab while maintaining decibels outside

The outlaw is a straight through design.
@Blome Outdoors your "Outlaw" flowmaster exhaust system has the "Super 10" muffler and it's 409 stainless steel tubing so your not going to have allot of rust on your tubing it will have the normal rust colored spots after a couple months or a couple years (5 or less) but it won't rust through that quickly. Your muffler's comes in a black coating but does ware off due to the heat of your exhaust witch is also normal. Nothing you really can do about that stuff. Take my truck I daily my old 96 Ranger and have a custom bent tubing from my cat to my "Super 44" flowmaster stainless steel muffler single inlet and dual outlet custom bent stainless steel tubing and exiting out before right rear tire and after 4 years so far my exhaust looks just like yours. Rust colored spots on the pipes and decolored muffler
Exactly . I have the actual flowmaster “outlaw” race muffler. Its even smaller than the super 10. It’s basically a straight pipe but technically a muffler lol
Why didn’t you go corsa or roush ?
I wanted the exhaust system to be loud, I couldn’t find either of those brands that had one as loud as I wanted, my main options were flowmaster outlaw and borla atak. The flowmaster was cheaper and they both had about the same loudness, so I went with the flowmaster.
The outlaw is super 10 I had a super 44 it had no drone but was aggressive when you punched it

I think I’m about to install the super 10 muffler with the stock pipes but i don’t want it as loud as yours do you think i should go with the super 40 instead
Yes, stock muffler and resonator are gone.
