Elvis absolutely owns this song! I love Garfunkelâs angelic-like vocal quality on the original version, but Elvisâ soulful baritone vocals are on an entirely different level, especially from when he starts singing âSail on silver girlâ until the end. That part gets me emotional, both from the soulful vocals and that it reminds me a lot of my late father, who had a similar soulful baritone voice and could sing gospel songs just like Elvis did.
