Thank you so much for watching!

one thing I would like to see is a quick play of the sound quality with a frequency analyzer review as well to prove how well they are performing.
agreed
A video like this is very nice for watching the speaker project come together. It's all the work that has to be done on the front end - calculating enclosure volumes, designing crossovers, predicting baffle step and boundary effects - that is far less glamorous but sets really great projects apart from the 'good' ones.
Beautifuly done.
I'm planning on building two sets of these :) Love you builds. Keep em' coming Kirby!!
SĂł faltou o video dela tocando para a gente ver o som!
Just missed the video of her playing for us to see the sound!
Excellent video. Great job all around. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Pretty nice, i will recommend creating portholes at the rear too
Great vid, very entertaining and light, no nonsense talking or time wasting clips.
So awesome!!! Extremely satisfying to watch!! Thanks!
This is the best DIY speaker video in terms of visual appeal!
These look incredible and seem like a great build project. Curious how they sound? Especially compared to the micro towers you for the same speakers.
Kirdy, I just started to watch your videos. Your work looks amazing. I thinking I found my new hobby for the summer. I got into wood working several years back and now have been having trouble thinking about what eles I could be making. This is giving me a new direction. Goal: 5.1 surroundsound and soundbar with woofer.
simply DOPE, i think I will be making this for a Christmas gift
Great video, great build! Really love your style. New subscriber.
ughhhh those look so so good! seriously- you've inspired me.
Thank you Kirby! This is amazing
A stunning pair of speakers! And a good view from the workshop too.
Nice video, thanks.
Thanks for watching, Norman!
Awesome work! thanks for the inspiration :)
I really like those little speakerboxes you made! Maybe I would add a really low frequent highpass filter, to secure the speakers against deep bass they are not able to reproduce anyways. It would make them more stable at higher loads.
So bloody tidy! Loving your work!
Thank you!
Great video - really dig the style. Subbed!
I would be curious to see if you could do an updated video of this project with currently available items. Love this video and plan on doing this project! Just subscribed!
Awesome! I want to build this myself
Amazing atmosphere and professionally put together video and project! Well done!
Thank you!
I love your skill
I really want this cube speaker
You posted this awhile ago and just want to say I'm viewing it now and am amazed at your work. I guess it came up on my recommended because I've been looking for pure one speaker cube like box speaker combo for my computer since I have very high quality speakers/subs that I just have laying around. Amazing video, keep up the great work! Looks amazing!
Thanks so much! Good luck on your project!
Found a free pair of cabs with a 12", 6" and tweeters in both. The 12s didn't have cones but I tested the 6s and tweeters and they sound pretty amazing, especially for being on the side of the road, and they look to be in great condition. Can't wait to turn them into pc monitors.
Amazing job!
Awe, those are so cute! â€
Hi, I stumbled upon this video through a CZcams suggestion. Great work! Both speakers and video quality are both excellent. Subscribed!
Thank you!
Those are beautiful speakers! Well done!
Thank you!
HELL YEAH!!! Amazing project! Damn cool video! Thank you! You got yourself a new subscriber!
Welcome! Thank you!

Damn! That's a funky jam! Dig it!
Strangely satisfying!
I have seen many of your build videos you do beautiful work. I would love to know what kind of tape you use when clamping the 45 degree corners. Kind of looks like masking tape but not quite.
thanks
Seems amazing man! very cool
Thank you!
A most excellent little project. You could have easily bettered the design by using differential cabinet (non-cube) panels, chamfer completely the front round hole edges you mounted the driver to, make a SMALL slitted port on one panel. Did you test stuffing acoustic foam in the cabinet?
beautiful work mate love it
Thank you, Joshua!
that's soo cool, I'm trying to build my own version (bigger speakers) any advice ? thanks
Kirby,
I have done 2 speaker builds now, partly inspired by you.. Thanks!!! Also was wondering what drivers you are using in the cubes and in the mini towers??
Thanks in advance.
beautiful speakers, and cool dog too!
Thank you! Her name is Penny :)
That's beautiful đđżđđż
beautiful work.
have one wuestion though. from what i have heard perfect cubes are to be avoided due to some bad effect on the sound. why a cube here?
The organ in the intro was siiiick. Nice find đ
Talent!!! Great Video
Thank you!
Woah I quite like how you build stuff with pure skill! My speaker projects are always done on a CNC ;) Love your work!
Thanks, Nick! I love using CNC. Wish I had one in my shop!
carbide3d.com/shapeoko/ This is what I use, great machine!
Badass speakers!
what a nice design!
Thank you, Michael!
Wow these look amazing! So what is you preferred method of hooking these passive speaker up to a computer?
these are stunning. i would love a set and a matching 8-10" sub. what do you use to power them?
ps. subbing for sure. keep it up!
Your production quality is amazing! Do you do woodworking for living?
Dude, this was an awesome build, and was beautifully filmed. Freaking cool, man!
great!!!!
Looks beautiful ;)
Love this video. Im building my set as we speak. That song at the begining... love it. That rotary organ is where its at. What is the song?
Wow I fell in love with these little ones. I plan to do something similar. I have a question what you are painting these speakers? I mean the same color. Can I get some links?
I love these full range speakers from dayton audio.
Nice craftsmanship! What sort of filters do you use for baffle step compensation?
really amazing build speakers.... what kind of glue do you use???
Great build! You do have some really nice machinary btw... i'm jealous
Thanks Tijman! I built my first speaker with pretty much just a circular saw, but it does make things easier with some fancy gear!
Nice made
Hello! Congratulations on your channel, I'm from Brazil and I'm following your work. What kind of wood do you use on the front and sides? thank you!
Fantastic speaker and video! When my son asks me what I mean by doing it right, I'm going to show him this video. Have you done a transmission line speaker with one of the full range Tang Band speakers (4")?
Beatifull!!
Thank you!
very cute!
Hey Kirby i love this one, it would be perfect for at kitchen speaker, but how do they sound? and is the cabinet made by calulating the thiele specs?
you have skill respekt fore you
Hello Friend! Its content is exceptional! These are works that inspire so many people (including me) to want to produce their own material! Thank you very much!!
Thats so kind! I really hope you do make your own. Thanks for watching!
look like a pro speaker factory build... awesome!
Thank you Antony!
you are using those black screw all the time. i really like them. what kind are those? and the fan that you use for soldering!! can i have a link to that one too please?
very nice look ! but how it sound ?
Man you are great! will u b keen to start. a production line with me in India, especially in Kolkata and Bangalore?
LOVELY!
Thank you!
Congratulations friend, great job, could you tell me a site where I can buy these speakers because I'm from Brazil and around here we only find products of poor quality since I thank you
Your amazing
Hi love the video, could u tell me what angle u cut the wood at? Thanks
subbed
Thanks so much, Topher!
Top!
Good job
Thank you!
i love your job
Me too! haha Thanks!
Beautiful and Inspiring work...is your watch a g-shock?
I like it....
Haha Iâve never seen the sticky tape vice trick for box corners, nice.
That redwood in front goes very well with PS95-8 copper colored cone.
Did you do any calculations for this speaker or dimensions are just for the looks?
What kind of Varnish and ink you used? Amazing work.
Hey, merci je garde un oeil ouvert pour les plans. merci
Je vous remercie! Les plans devraient ĂȘtre prĂȘts au cours des prochaines semaines. Je vais probablement faire une vidĂ©o pour les anoncer.
Nice bro
Nice job, beautiful look. I assume you were trying to make low-fidelity Auratone / Avantone style mixing check monitors. If not, and you wanted good fidelity, you should always choose a properly sized / tuned enclosure that is also not a cube. But either way, one of the most beautiful speakers I have seen.
Great video. What finish was used on the wood? There's no mention anywhere.
nice builds........
Thank you!
Good job :3 Wonderful *-*
Thanks!
Could you use these at Auratone replacements for mixing or would you need a different speaker?
very good.
Thank you!
nice
what is the wood on the front of the speaker? greetings from New Delhi! love your work..
Now if I could just afford all that fancy woodworking equipment I could go into the speaker cabinet businessâđ€
You don't have to have All those fancy equipment đ
Hello , I love your work, it is possible to have the measurements so I could realized this little project , thank you
Hey there! They are 5.5" cubes, with a 3" woofer. Plans coming soon! Keep an eye out.
wow!
Please do a diy woodworking guide to make the enclosure look good.
Seems like you like wave guides lol. Are you actually making those wave guides based on the driver manufacturer specs or is it just generic? bcuz thats pretty deep and kind of horn like which will change the sound. Id be interested in seeing 2 exact builds, 1 flush mounted and one with that mini horn and comparing the sound.
Dude, these are sick. I need to build a pair! Ballpark, how much were the drivers?
Thank you! Around $24 per driver. Thanks for watching!
Binging on some of your other videos now. I love the jigs that you've come up with for easy repeatability. Really smart.
These are sick speakers. Indeed.
