What size plumbing do i need in my house to hook up to this shower? And on i believe one of the spec pages with the layout for the drain and plumbing there's a box in top left corner saying outlet. Is that just where the shower is connected to power? Looking to install this model in next couple weeks and want my ducks in a row. Thanks
It is not recommended to use the Flex drain unless shower is going on a concrete floor, all plumbing should be hard plumbed using 2" ABS piping where ever possible
How does this get installed in an actual bathroom? This is all nice in a big open warehouse. How does a contractor, me, install this into an existing room? It looks like all the hose and electrical connections will need to be made from behind the walls? I can't take out the floor of the room above nor open up exterior walls to make plumbing connections.
Shower can be installed in place. It is strongly recommended to have an access panel on the wall behind where shower is going to future service the shower unit. You have to have the drain location ruffed in under floor before installing the shower.
You hire a Licensed Electrician and a Registered Plumber, take the walls out yourself (You are a Contractor, right?) I'm currently wiring one of these up. The General Contractor added an access panel in the hallway to the rear of the unit. Permit pulled for the job. My inspector will inspect all my work and then the walls can be closed up.
@@getreal268 No wall? It's in a bathroom. My job is to wire it up and code says the connection point needs to be accessible. Also, the inspector is calling for a disconnect. Unit has none. Kind of silly having a 2 pole 30 amp disconnect out in a hallway in a house.

Along the bottom rail is there grommets that cover the scew holes on the bottom rails?
What size are the hot and cold supply hoses?I’m thinking 1/2
use 3/8 shut off valves and 36" long 3/8" metal braided hoses same as under a sink to connect shower to your home.
What size is the flexible drain that connects to the plumbing of the house?
