Yes! Wiggling your pinky toe is the best way to stop sleep paralysis. I can never talk about my experiences with anyone in my real life cause they either get scared and tell me to stop or they think im crazy. I always keep it to myself now. But I understand. I know how crazy I sound when I say I’ve left my body.

I’ve had sleep paralysis multiple times within my life so getting used to it wasn’t really a problem. From my experience, Nothing truly happens other than it’s uncomfortable to breathe and when my eyes are open I see a blurry vision of the room that I am in. I’ve never experienced seeing other worldly beings because truly it’s kinda like the prototype of lucid dreaming where you are in complete control of what happens. So for example, if you fear the worst and are terrified, bad visions are going to appear which is why people hallucinate demons more often than not because the first experience is almost always scary. I’m fascinated each time I get sleep paralysis because it is such an unworldly feeling that I want to learn more about.

During sleep paralysis there is a thin line between the spirit world and the physical realm, that is why you are unsure if you are awake or not. This has happened to me many times, and you are right about the seeing demons. It's usually a spiritual attack on your soul. It's a very scary experience the first time it happens to you.

I am extremely used to sleep paralysis at this point I know pretty much all the tricks to get out of it quickly now but damn man I felt like I was trapped for hours until I learned the tricks like focusing all your attention on one finger and shit and even though you know it’s not real the shit you see is still way more traumatizing than a regular typical nightmare since it’s way more realistic.

When you said you and your dad woke up at the exact same time, i got the chills. I had this crazy experience at a sleepover with my friend many years ago! Lemme tell you.
So i was at my friends house, it was a sleepover. I was sleeping in a regular bed in his room while he was sleeping on top of his bunk bed on the other side of the room. So in the morning when we woke up, we literally woke up at the exact same time, but not only that.. while i was opening my eyes i for some reason automatically sat up, i didn't intend to do this but it just happened as i woke up. Now whats crazy is that my friend did the exact same thing, and whats EVEN CRAZIER is that we literally started staring right into each others eyes as it happened. Literally within one second of BOTH OF US waking up at the same time, we were both sitting up and staring into each others eyes... its really crazy and i have no idea how that happened. Maybe it was something similar, i don't remember having an out of body experience or anything like that.

One time i had sleep paralysis. I got out of my dream but my eyes were closed. my conscious new that i couldn’t move. When i opened my eyes there was a girl sitting on her knees on my bed next to me. she just sat there and watched me. She didn’t wanna harm me. I could hear whispers but only in my left ear. And on the back of my left ear ever time i heard a whisper, i felt warm air touch the back of my left ear. I only could make out one word she said which was cousin. Although a creepy experience, it makes you question your whole existence. It’s creepy and cool and the same time.

I used to struggle to breath during sleep paralysis and it was terrifying!! sometimes I would hear this deep, LOUD “whooosh..whooosh..whooosh”pulsing, and one time I felt this ball of heat spreading throughout my body. I struggled with both sleep walking and sleep paralysis until my mid twenties. And I always remembered everything I was doing and thinking while sleep walking but I couldn’t ever understand that what I was doing and saying didn’t make any sense to my day to day life. . I would argue and say I’m not sleep walking I’m wide awake why won’t you listen to me!.. Ppl would just have to talk to me and tell me where I was until the wheels in my brain would slowly start turning and I would realize whatever I was worrying about or doing isn’t happening, or isn’t even real at all.. I still dream very very vividly though. I am studying astral projection now and I hope I’m able to do it one day!!!

The first time I went through the tunnel people talk about in NDE's, I was around 8 I think.
The second time I woke up in the air; rolled over and landed back into my body.
The third time I did it on purpose by astral projecting outside of myself, through my side, and felt my consciousness expand for about 30 seconds.

I had sleep paralysis mostly in middle school. Im approaching my 30's now so this wasnt recent by far. But i didnt see shadows or demons ever (my mom often did however). Rather i saw blue light beings and "light streams" which i believe tried to hypnotize me at one point. They didnt feel malicious, id describe them as playful or curious, but maybe im naive and just assumed they meant no harm. They looked cool, intrigued in me as i was in them. But eventually i just fell back asleep so i couldnt really investigate them.

Ive had sleep paralysis many time but only once or twice i seen demons during it. Majority of the time its just i open my eyes and there is nothing there but my room. And I just cannot move but I try to move and all i get is shaking and making noises.
