- The Amazing World of Gumball is a show from Cartoon Network starring two brothers and best friends: Gumball, a blue cat, and Darwin, a goldfish. The series spends a great deal of time characterizing both protagonists and establishing their relationship with each other, which is quite loving.
The affectionate nature of their friendship is a lot more apparent when compared to that of arguably less healthy pairs, such as Mao Mao and Badgerclops in the show Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart.
Today, I will analyze the distinct differences between the two dynamics and explain why I believe Gumball and Darwin is such a wholesome, well-crafted, and nuanced relationship. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

You welcome
I really loved this analysis.
I guess I have to admit, I am pretty annoyed at points at how in the show, everyone plays Straight Man in Gumball, and how everyone plays the Funny Guy. But yeah, Gumball and Darwin together are definitely a high point. And Mao Mao... just had some really mean moments overall.
I feel the same about how disingenuous "The Loud House" is, where the only way a character learns a lesson is seemingly from severe violence or punishment, especially if the character was only mildly an ass. "The Goldbergs" is pretty similar.
When writing my stories, I try to make sure punishment is never the answer. And there's a lot of punishment, but I like to put a hidden theme in there that punishment... never really works. No one learns because they get beat, or ignored.
Thanks! That is a very compelling viewpoint on these shows.
